I went here recently for lunch and drinks with friends.  Food was good, but it seems to me that they are watering down the drinks or the billerica water is affecting them.  Had bacardi and coke, asked 2 friends if they tasted any rum in this, they said no, asked the bartender she added more rum??, after 2 large drinks, felt like i was completely sober, no effect, could have ordered just coke for less than $6.50, also tried another liquor, same effect.  Their drinks used to be good.

Went there to watch some friends play darts. Never been before so didn't know the Upstairs part of the bar. When I found a set of stairs I assumed that was it but asked a few guys at the bar if I was heading in the right direction they said yes. I got about 4 or 5 steps up and I could hear one guy making fun of me. Well being a city girl I strolled back down the stairs and told him he had a Irish whisper. I held back wanting to tell this "gentleman" what else I thought of him. ERR! Ok so upstairs to dart league. Nice they have a dedicated area to play but also slows down the service of getting drinks and food. Speaking of..... I ordered something off the menu recommended and then they ended up not having it. ERR! Being a city girl I like a good hole in the wall as much as the next person but idiots at the bar in my neighborhood get dealt with. PERIOD!

Went here due to the location not the best spot on water for sure. Waitress was nice and orders came a ok speed. Had some buffalo wing dings they were suspiciously small (like squab)
This place really isn't worth going out of your way for or going there twice unless you live near by, beer was cold service was ok(waitress disappeared often perhaps to smoke outside) Not a big fan of the Keno/lottery scene which prob has higher sales than food sales.

Not my kinda spot but all in all not a complete nightmare.

The Billerica riviera. Serviceable place for beer and beer snacks.

I love this place. Kind of an older crowd. I was back at Mickee's twice this week for lunch. They have a great menu and good selection of pizzas. I had the BLT on day and the Bacon Cheeseburger. Both were made perfectly and washed down with a few perfectly pourred Guinesses. I might have to come back and check out the night scene. They have live bands every night of the week.

Your run of the mill townie bar. Very mixed age group. Not fancy, but not sketchy at all. I've never felt unsafe here. It's a regular restaurant by day, and the kitchen stays open till around 10pm I think as it converts into a bar atmosphere later in the evening, staying open till 1pm every night. Bands go on around 9pm Fridays/Saturdays. Food is alright, no complaints about that, you get what you pay for. I like the pizza.

Let me clear up a couple of things that may be confusing from other reviews. The pool/billiards is free ONLY on Sundays, otherwise it's 4 quarters a game. Darts are always free, although they are located in the upstairs "lounge" which is only open Friday and Saturday. Cover USED to start at 8:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays, but now I think it moved earlier to 8PM. Cover is $3 when they have a really crappy band, $5 when they have an only partly crappy band. While they do have a little bit of floor space where you can dance in front of the band, I've never seen anyone under the age of 40 attempt it. Finally, the parking lot really is small, so get there before 10pm if you want a chance for a spot. If you park across the street at the liquor store, even after it's closed, they'll tow you.

Drink prices are reasonable. The bar downstairs gets swamped on weekends, but it's still better to wait at the bar for your drinks than to try to order through the waitress who services the pool tables area. The waitresses are friendly but take an absurdly long time to bring you anything. Unless you're getting food, stick to ordering your drinks at the bar. Also, strangely enough, the downstairs bar has a much better alcohol selection than the upstairs lounge, and is the only place to get draft beer.

So about that upstairs lounge. Their website calls it a "Martini bar". I call BS. Maybe it used to be, when that awesome skinny, middle-aged guy bartender who was a landscaper by day worked it (Rick?). They had a hidden, really long house mixed drink menu too if you asked for it. Now the lounge is worked by this woman who dresses 80lbs skinnier than she really is (think lots of cleavage and playboy bunny shirts), and who's normally nice but will get snippy if  you ask for anything more complicated than a Jack and Coke. In any case, if you're getting a bottled beer or a simple mixed drink, you can save time by getting it up at the lounge rather than waiting at the downstairs bar. The lounge is also a good place to go to play darts, order food, and escape the really loud crappy band downstairs.

Ok, this is a toughie.  If I base my rating on what I really thought of it in the moment, I'd give Mickee's a *GENEROUS* 1 star.  But I'm going to try to be an adult here and judge it after I've had a few days to digest it.
After a glorious afternoon at the Jade (Pacific), I was severely disappointed in this place.  I didn't expect to fall in love with it, but I was hoping it wouldn't be *that* bad.  It actually wasn't *that* bad, but I was recovering from 3 Blue Hawaiians at the Jade and this place was not what I needed.  First of all, I don't approve of cover charges.  If I'm gonna pay a cover charge at a place, I'd better see Liza in the coat room going through people's stashes.  I understand there's a band and the pool is free, but I don't approve of cover charges, and you can't make me.  So there.  The "bouncer," (I use the term lightly), wasn't friendly in any way shape or form either.
I wouldn't dare order any beverages here other than beer, and actually, I smartly decided that I'd had quite enough and refrained from eating or drinking.  The band playing was decent and they earned this place it's first star.  The only other star is there because it was rather clean.  Not sparkling, but not filthy.  The waitress was hard to get a hold of, barely interested in us, and asked me to stop leaning against the pool table.  I'm told this is common practice, but since there were 4 or 5 tables and only one was being used, I didn't think my leaning against one was a big deal.
OK.  I'm rereading this and I'm not being nearly as harsh on this place as I thought I would be.  The bottom line is, if I'm with people I like, it's a memorable time, I just don't see a page set aside for Mickee's in my scrapbook.

I'm going to give Mickee's a generous three stars.  This is by no means my normal type of place--severely lacking in martinis and overall fabulousness, but it was enjoyable for what it was.  We were out for my boss' husband's birthday and after the Jade Pacific, he wanted to head here.  So off we went.

I work down the street from this place, but have never been in until last night.  Many of my coworkers have been and told me that it's kind of a rough crowd, no place for a delicate young lad such as myself.  Based on what I saw last night, I wouldn't call the crowd rough--I mean, I didn't fear for my safety or anything--but it's certainly not a trendy yuppie bar or a yeah-dood/chickie poo type place.

Mickee's calls itself a sports bar, but I didn't see that many televisions save for one big screen, and the place didn't seem to be decked out in sports memorabilia.  On this particular night, there was a cover band playing, which meant paying a $5 cover charge at the door.  I was kind of miffed that I had to pay a cover charge to come into this place, but I'll admit that the band was good and I'm happy to have supported their artistic endeavors, even that is just playing cover songs.  There's a small dance floor that, given the nature of the place, I thought would go unused, but some ladies (and one inebriated man in our party) were not shy and got up to dance...badly, of course, but props to them for their confidence.  Other forms of recreation here include Keno, some arcade game that I think was golf, and FREE pool tables.  We spent our night occupying one of said tables.

Service was on the slow and surly side, but I think there was only one waitress for the entire place.  She did seem to running around quite a bit.  It's probably better that my drinks came slowly anyways, because after a couple mai tais at the Jade, I didn't need to put much more on top of it.  I didn't order any food, but I'm sure there will be an after work outing here sooner or later and I'll get to sample some of their fine cuisine.

Local dive bar for the contractors in the area.  If you get there around 5, everybody in "round 1" is already plastered (pun intended) and on their way out.  Decor is straight out of the 70s, there's not enough parking, the service is as salty as they come "HEAS YAH OH-RINGS BOYS [COUGH][COUGH]".

If you are looking for a place to grab a few remedy's for empty bladder syndrome then I suppose it's ok.  I wouldn't trust any of the food though (maybe fried apps are ok).

Just print out directions to Emerald Rose, stop being lazy it's not that far.
