Hubby took me out for impromptu date night! Star Trek and dinner. We were cas mode so we decided to stop at Mike's. I'd never been so why not!? We decided to sit outside but had to walk inside to be seated first. My first impression wasn't good. It smelled like mildew. normally I'd have been outta there but.... So we go outside. Our server was AMAZING. Laura is here name. She checked on us often enough not to be annoying. and was really on her game. I wanted to get blackened tuna, but I thought if it wasn't cooked right, I'd be pissed off and never come back. Laura recommended the burger. We got the sampler for an appy. Can you say-AWESOME potato skins? I can. They were fabulous.
I got the burger with bacon, cheese and fried onions, and added roasted peppers YUMMMMMMM. jim got the Texas burger. again YUMMMM. Fires were awesome, as were the onion petals.
Frankly, if they get the mildew smell out, they've got me for pub food. Otherwise they only get me in nice weather. Really Really solid.

Very family friendly. Burgers and fish are great! They changed the menu recently, must admit I enjoyed the quesadilla on the old menu over the new, but overall a nice change. Staff is nice, but may be slowed by the kitchen wait time.?

1st visit: Full parking lot, extremely crowded! Were told the wait could possibly be an hour, but were seated much quicker than that. Male bartender was friendly & immediately served us. Our waitress was great: friendly, attentive, honest, & did not rush us. Chicken Caesar salad: huge portion, but bland chicken. We stayed for karaoke, which starts at 10pm. Only negative: a large guy, I'm assuming a bouncer, stopped us near the bar & asked to see all of our IDs, after we had just walked to the bar side from the other side. We obviously had not just arrived, because I was carrying a Styrofoam takeout container, & my friend was holding a mostly-finished drink.
2nd visit: Did not have to wait to be seated - not too crowded. Waitress was ok - did not rush us which was nice. Vodka penne pasta was EXCELLENT - better than I've had at Italian restaurants! Shrimp scampi, crab dip, soup, lettuce wraps, & nachos were ok.

We have been hear quite a few times. The food has always been good. The loaded fries are huge and the wings tasty.
The service however was not on par. We were told that we could t replace fries with a side salad, and had to wait about 20 mins to get our check.

Great spot for burgers. Had "The Burger" for lunch, it was delicious. Angus beef and short rib meat grinded together into one burger, yeah. Topped it off with some Longtrail IPA, very good combo.

I went there for the first time last night and will be back. There are only two reasons why this place didn't get five stars from me; one being that they have a boring draught selection and the second being slow service.

However I had a buffalo chicken quesadilla which was delicious. Plus their drinks are not bad for the price, and I recommend a Tom's Tea to anyone in search of a good drink (it's a Long Island Iced Tea but they use raspberry tea in the recipe). In fact, all of our mixed drinks were top notch. If you're a beer snob without a palate for any other alcohol, then avoid this place because you will be disappointed. If you want some good drinks and bar grub then you should give it a shot.

Was there for lunch, 11/1/12. Had a pick two special. The best part was the house made potato chips! Followed by an average turkey club and a cup of salt that they call chili. I would have said something to the server about the chili flavored salt lick if I thought anyone in the building cared enough to correct the problem, not only with me, but in the kitchen as well. Now I know why I don't regularly dine there.

Blah, not sure what else to say.
We went here for a quick bite when our spawn was occupied at a nearby birthday party.
We were hoping for a nice appetizer, drinks and dessert.
I was underwhelmed by the beer selection. Granted, I am a beer snob and this place had only domestic cheap beer. Nothing on the craft end except one Sierra Nevada offering. So I passed on the beer and went for soda.
My wife wanted fish and chips, but not the large portion. So she asked if she could order a child's size- the answer was no.
She ordered clams instead.
I ordered mozerella sticks and they were ok. I've had better. The sauce was good.

We then went to dessert and ordered cheesecake and a peanut butter pie.
I had the cheesecake and was underwhelmed. Granted, at that point I was a bit nervous about my dessert due to my wifes.
Her pie came back with a quarter sized green spot on the side, yes it was mold. It was taken back quickly upon notice. The dessert menu was reviewed again. My wife only ordered the same pie if they could assure it was fresh. They said the manager indicated the piece is from a new pie.
They did comp. the pie my wife ordered.
The atmosphere:
The floor was dirty and some dust could be seen on decorations in the barn like building. I liked the stone interior walls.
Smells like ketchup when you first go inside.
Staff appear friendly and helpful.
It is a loud place and appears kid friendly.

Food was tasty, unfortubatly the waitress decided to talk to a relative at the next table for 15 minutes, our dinner took forever.... Had the fish taco which was very small for the price. Burgers are very good.

This place needs to clean the food out of the benches. The southwest salad was a small portion for an entree and it had old sour tasting tomatoes and brown celery. Not sure if I'll go back here. French dip was okay with homemade potatoe chips.

Mike's is a large smoke free sports bar. Its an older building with exposed stone walls and has several different dining areas. In the lower dining room there is a massive stone fire place that is pretty impressive.

I was there for a rehearsal dinner so we had a buffet and I didn't get to order off the menu. They don't have a large beer selection but I would stop in if i'm in the area again.

Mike's is a nice restaurant/bar in a building which is pretty old by US standards. This place is frequented by many locals and has a lot to offer on the diverse menu. I had a Texas Burger which was pretty weak overall. Wing sauce on a cheese burger. Not really a Texas Burger. The cheese fries were a great treat (which I haven't had in a LOOOOOONG time). So cheesy. Thankfully, my table mates helped finish the appetizer. Others had steak, which they enjoyed and I understand they have a pretty decent Philly cheese steak.

We came here for lunch and we were very happy with this place. There was a pretty run of the mill lunch menu, but the food was done well. I had the Club and it was huge. The waitress was on top of it with refills. We come here again for sure.

4 stars for the value. Excellent burgers, sauces and appetizers were all very tasty, cool colonial building, tap beer, good service. Prices more than reasonable.

Local eatery with average food. It was hit-or-miss. Fish and chips were frozen - blah taste. Crab cake rolled in panko crumbs - small, fair to good. Crab dip - good.

Sorry, not much else to stay. First visit. I don't plan on coming back.

Mike's is a really nice local restaurant and bar. Good variety of food on the menu, large portions, and reasonable prices.

The bar is a good size with a nice draught selection. They have a really good free snack mix there too.

They are family friendly, and kids eat free on Mondays from 4pm to 7pm. The atmosphere is casual, with lots of TVs around the dining area.

We've eaten here many times and have yet to find a bad dish. The burgers and steaks are very good. If you're looking for something lighter, the salads are good too.

Yeah, three stars is exactly what this place deserves. If you're looking for a place to have a beer its fine. If you're looking to have a burger it's fine. It's fine, that's it. Everything about it is mediocre. It reminds me of places like Applebee's or TGI Fridays except with less annoying trash on the walls. The food is OK. I've had a hamburger and chicken parm there which were decent. The service is standard and it has a good bar atmosphere. Can't say I don't like it but it's nothing special.

Used to stop at Mikes fairly often after work with the guys when we were working a little further up Street Rd.

The food was always OK, never anything great but it is reasonably priced. After all it's a bar & grill, you're not expecting a culinary masterpiece.

The bar has a decent selection of beers on tap and they put out free wings and other appetizers during happy hour which is a nice touch.

The wings are just OK, but since I was usually getting them free I won't complain.

In conclusion Mike's is a pretty good place to go and grab a couple beers and relax after a long day.

Stopped here on the way home from NJ finally and I have to say it was OK. Nothing great, nothing bad...just OK.

Average sandwiches, average appetizers and average service.

The place wasn't crowded at all on a Friday afternoon and they had a private party upstairs.

It's a good place or so it appears for a game or to watch some sports at the bar.

My boyfriend lives in Hatboro and so far this is the best non-smoking, sports bar I've been able to find within a close vicinity to his house. They have a pretty large menu for a bar and their fries are AWESOME. They make them like sour cream and onion chips, but in french fry form. In addition, Mike's is a good place to watch a sports game. They have a lot of TVs in the bar area and we've been able to find good seats each time we've gone in to watch a game.

In the handful of times I've been to Mike's I thought the service was very attentive and I've always liked what I ate. I've had the steamed clams, the fries (obviously), the caesar salad, the french onion soup, and the burger and all were up to par in my opinion. My boyfriend has seemed to have enjoyed his meals equally. We will definitely go back.

Food was not amazing just so so, the burger meat had a strange taste that actually reminded me more of meatloaf that a burger. The fries were better although I am there for a meal rather than a snack.

The service was so so since we came in at the beginning of their lunch time, the waitress was slow to non-existent.

Strange choice of music for the type of restaurant... Classic rock is better for just a hole in the wall bar...

Mike's has a friendly atmosphere and their food is ample and varied. They have one of the most convenient locations as you can access it from simply making it down to the intersection of Street Road or 263/York. It's great for meeting up with groups and watching big games on the TV down in the lower bucks burbs. I give it three stars and a golf clap.

Want to meet up with some friends for lunch, watch a Phillies game, or just drink some beer.....Mike's is the place. Stationed at the corner of York and Street roads, Mike's is a cozy place that offers a decent lunch and dinner menu.

One of my favorite features at Mike's is the outdoor dining area, something that most eateris in the vicinity don't have. The entire patio is covered by an awning and overhead fans provide a nice breeze that keeps diners and their drinks cool.

Their entire menu is available for take-out so feel free to call ( or order on their website) and get your meal to go. Enjoy!

I have to say.... they have some of the best french fries I've ever tasted. Seriously... yum.

This place overall is pretty good, especially if you're going to sit in the bar and watch a game. The staff I have found is very friendly and attentive. The menu isn't that extensive... a lot of the usual stuff - nothing that great (fries excluded!)

I enjoy coming here... plus they have outdoor seating! Yeah!!

I am basing my review on 1 experience and not sure I will be back.. Servcie was way slow and in experienced. I hear everyone talking about home made food and I dare to say no way.

The bbq chicken for the nachos was straight out of a plastic container you find at ACME, they advertise their crab cakes are from Bobby Chez's and other than that the food seems bleh..

One score is for the kids eat free..

A regular spot to grab a bite to eat and a nice cold one! Friendly service, ample parking, some outdoor seating and a nice bar scene along with a quaint and quiet restaurant seating area. Aside from the run-of-the-mill appetizer selection, the boneless chicken wings are terrific. Love the ribs and crabcake entrees. Prices are surprisingly afforable for the quality of food. I've had Mike's cater an off-site party, and have been to events in their upstairs banquet room. Both events were excellent - everyone who attended the off-premises event wanted to know where the food came from. They did a surprisingly nice filet mignon. The on-premise event was also nice, with the bar set aside from the dining area, and it's a good size room for groups of not more than 80 or so people. Food was so good I wished I had my tupperware containers to stash them full of the leftovers!

I have had many friends move to the Warminster area. That said my mates have taken me here for some food and drinks. The sports bar area is large and spacious. They have good beers on tap and good appetizers.

I recently had lunch at Mike's with a good friend. The inside is very nice and rustic. The dining area is much different from the bar area. The food and the prices are both good. They have the pick two lunch special. It is similar to the Panera Bread pick two. I went with the half cheese steak and chicken Cesar salad. My lunch was excellent. The iced tea was great with the fresh lemon wedge. The cheese steak was just right and the salad had a lot of grilled chicken and was not drowned in dressing. This is a good place to have a drink, a meal, or both with friends. They now have a summer patio area that looks very nice.

Mike's is a friendly neighborhood sports bar and restaurant. They are so serious about their sports that the dining rooms have TVs in them, in fact they have twenty one TVs in the bar and restaurant. Can't miss the game!

They have continually been voted best of Buck's County for their sports bar and their ribs. They also have a banquet room upstairs. Bar events, live bands, DJ's and happy hour.

Their menu has so many offerings of appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees. They do have great ribs and burgers and they prepare an awesome fish and chips using cod from the Cape!

Appetizers are not very inventive and is typical bar grub, however their sandwiches and entrees are. "Homemade" food it is like Mom's meatloaf and real garlic mashed potatoes. Steaks, BBQ chicken and they are known for their crab cakes. Give them a try:

Kids eat free Monday thru Friday, two kids per one adult meal.

Mike's York Street Bar & Grill is a sports bar and restaurant in Bucks County. They have happy hours and weekly bar specials worth checking out, including karaoke Saturdays.

Mike's used to be Pronto, an Italian restaurant (anyone remember that?). Not sure if they merely underwent a name change and menu adjustment, but regardless, their food is still good. Standouts on their menu include their St. Louis style ribs ($15 for a half rack) and the chicken vodka penne ($12, with chicken) with a tomato vodka sauce. I've been here several times with family and never had problems with service.

For large parties, banquet rooms are available, just send a message via their site or call for details. Speaking of their site, you can order food from it, the link is: http://www.mikesyorkstre…
