Mitchell's Tavern

Mitchell's was a place that I had seen and heard about for years and yet never tried. Well, one day I decided that I would give it a shot. The inside could use a bit of an update, but the food and friendliness of the staff made up for that. The bartender / server helped suggest options, after we stated that we were newbies. Well...the fish was excellent, as was the roast beef. I will definitely be back.

My kind of dive. Good food cheap.  I had the fish fry being Friday and everything, the fry was good...not the best but good. I would definitely go back, but probably try the famous roast beef sandwich instead. The patio was a nice and relaxing way to spend the evening. Heard about an exciting men's room experience, too bad that they don't have a women's room equivalent....hmmm....wonder what that would even be... :) I would go back and spend another lazy evening

I just had the best roast beef I can remember! Yes, Kevin, the best. The fries were lightly battered and I got the family Texas sauce and cheese on them. Good thing my cardiologist likes me so much. Good draft selection as the rusty chain went down smooth. Tammy loved the sweet potato fries with the butter and honey separated for your own indulgence. All in all, highly recommended for simple and excellent pub food.
