Probably the longest I've waited for the worst breakfast I've ever had. They were either understaffed or maybe they are just always that bad, but we sat there for two hours waiting for our food and nothing that came out was worth eating. Several tables walked out because of the long wait for their food. I wish we had also.
Review Source:I went to Mr. W's for breakfast on a total whim. The breakfast place down the street had a bus full of kids show up just as I was arriving, so I opted to try something different.
The service was good, the staff was attentive and pleasant (disclaimer: I was the only customer in the restaurant). The building used to be a bank, which I found interesting. It even still has the vault door in the back wall of the dining room.
I ordered a simple breakfast, eggs, English muffin, hash browns, and some meats. The portion size was fitting, not too small but not over flowing like some breakfast places. Eggs were cooked well, and the English muffin was grilled. The sausage links were slightly disappointing (uncased which resulted in them being dry and over cooked) and the home fries need some serious help. I'm fairly certain they are frozen and deep fried which was really disappointing. The coffee however was strong and never ending. All said and done the breakfast was a on par cost-wise for what was served.
Overall I would recommend the Mr. W's. If they can improve their sausage and the home fries, this place would be 5 stars easy.
