Nardi's Tavern

Fun place to go for a night out when on the island!  Usually have live bands playing every night, and if not they have a DJ that takes requests.  Usually a pretty happening place in July/August- even on the weekdays.  Taking the Nardi bus is fun and free (although, you should tip the driver!)  Only goes up to Division St. on the Surf City end.  Bus can be a little rowdy on the way home, but that's all part of the experience!  Fun, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive bar staff.  Pretty decent food ... had a yummy cheesesteak and some good fries here.  Average-priced drinks.  Can't wait to try out happy hour this year!

I live five or so blocks from Nardi's so naturally I have become a bit familiar with it. It's a great place for a fun night out, not a place for an afternoon lunch or evening dinner. The food is nothing to brag about, neither are the drinks. But, I don't think that's why everyone goes there. You go to Nardi's for the bands and that damned pink school bus. It's a fun place with lots of dancing and debauchery but don't expect much else.

Came here twice while on vacation and had a great time.  There's always something going on here, which worked out great for us since we were visiting off-peak season.      

The service was great.  Mike the bartender is awesome and I hope he's still there when we come back down to visit the island!!!!!  Cold tasty beers and yummy food as well.  The mussels (both red and white) were out of this world both times we came by, too!  

I hope to ride the famous Pink Bus next time!!
