They are racist here! I have gone twice and paid good money for VIP service and the hoochy waitress was barely there helping instead sipping on her own drink with the bartender. The owner has a quota and only allows so many "black" people in. This is horrible! I gave the place a second chance WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN. Funny thing is the second time I went the place was HALF empty, I hope they lose money. That is what they get.

It's a great location, really nice inside but the crowd is really whack. Â Really young hood rat. You need a better promoter. If you were able to do something there for a more exclusive crowd (like 30 plus) Grown and sexy. Men in suits and ties. Â I think it would be better.
Also, if you add chairs around the bar.
Lastly, please inform your bartenders on how to make a simple margarita.
Charging men $40 is too much.
NO STARS!!!! Wish I didn't have to give a rating. This place is going down and fast! I am not impressed. The best part about this club is THE PARKING!!! It's free and literally a couple steps from the entrance of  the club so for us ladies who like to wear 4 inch heels this is a blessing but guess what? As we roll up there is not a soul in the line *crickets* *Blank stare*. Although we've paid beforehand they have us wait outside for 20 mins in the cold before letting us step foot in the club, ask me why? Because this little blond chick is running around like a chicken with her head cut off ordering people around talking to everyone like their idiots, I don't know her title or what she does at the club but she needs to find a new profession. Then I see a familiar face emerge from the club... it's the promoter from WET and CIRCOLO both of which I swore I'd never frequent again, it was my worst nightmare! After the 20 mins. was up they started letting us in and told half of the group to pay $20 because bottle svc. only covered 12 ppl which was fine but they told us beforehand that the rest of our group would only have to pay $10 this doesn't surprise me. We walk in to realize there are less ppl inside than there were outside. This huge place was empty. I found out that there was a shooting there 2 weeks prior, I blame that on the promoter his parties always end like that. The club stayed empty, the blond stayed rude, the promoter stayed broke. I was with my family and the DJ was cool so we made it fun but after the bottles we bought were gone so were we. Couldn't bare to stay any later than 1a.
P.S. They don't enforce any dress code there were chicks there in jean shorts and flats, that screams "ready to fight". My cousin got her ring and purse stolen. Nobody is gonna miss this place when it's gone.
Bad for Business the owners and promoters do not know what they are doing!! The guestlst is a joke and the place is suppose to be "upscale" but it is not!! The security was the only thing that was ok! We had fun only because we had no choice, we drove way from SF to enjoy a new place and some where different, we stood in line for 1 hour prior to opening, and thought the guestlist was going to be honered as stated in the Neo Website $10 before 10pm but no, they charged us $20 if that was the case we all could have pitched in for VIP or Bottle service. By the way they asked for a two bottle minimum on top of there false advertisment that they pulled on us once we were in there. We came to celebrate two Birthdays and it was atleast 15 of us if we knew we were going to spend that kind of money we would have taken it some where else! Very unprofessional place! We are never going to that place again!
Review Source:Disappointing - online guest list price of $10 was not honored. An explanation given was a miscommunication between advertiser and owner. So guest list cost was $20 but upped to $40 for women & $60 for men @ 10PM - OUTRAGEOUS! This is not a good way to do business. Â We were there to celebrate a friend's birthday, as a girls night out, and have a good time. We were willing to pay $20 but as a group of moms and hardworking women the new cost was too steep.
The one star was for the bouncers who were friendly & respectful and given the unfortunate job to tell us in line the new prices. Needless to say we left and headed over to Karma and had a blast!
if you are on a guestlist you must arrive before 10pm and that means get your ass in line by 9pm lol.. i mean who really goes out that early except old ppl still bar hopping..? i think if one has the vip experience it would be better.. the lines are extremely long and slow so do not think coming by 9:30 will get you in.. also make sure your man, guy friend, or husband has on the right shoes.. for us ladies it is not hard.. be on time unless you wanna pay $20 for women and $40 for men.. this review is on the line only not the inside since did not make it in.. stepped out of line and went elsewhere.. went because my niece wanted to celebrate her 21st bday there.. ppl came late so we all stood in line for a long time then found out her man had wrong shoes plus some ppl did not wanna pay those high cover charges.. the inside looked nice from what i can see when the side door opened.. can hear music too whch sounded good.. i do want to check the place out so next time will be more prepared....

Very large and Nice place...When i starting to dance one guy come to me and try to dance with me,he is rude bcoz i think hes drunk too much and the security see what happened he come and talk to the guy... the rude guy get out on the dance floor...That's why i would like to say thankyou to this guard bcoz he take care their costumer...and Thankyou to the dj's too,having fun to the sound is soooo cool...This place is starting to be my new hangout,my daughter's and my friend's too...THANKYOU Â NEO PEOPLE!!!

Went here last night for a charity event. Ambiance was really nice and I heard that they rented out the venue for free to the charity so I came here with very high expectation for this place.
The event was spoken word and it was a very good performance started 6 ended at 9. So we went outside and ordered a pizza since its right next door. The bouncer said we had until 10pm to get back so we thought it would be fine. So some of us left to get the pizza when the other half of us tried to walk out the owner said you can't come back if you leave. We explained that we have been here since 6 ordered a bunch of drinks and bottles and just wanted to walk next door to grab some food real quick and come right back (the kitchen they have did not seem to be working that night). She did not give me the time of day and even went to as far as saying "i've told you 15 times already no in's and out's" (I NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE LET ALONE TALK TO YOU!). And said if we leave to even smoke we had to pay $40 for guys and $20 for girls to come back in. However as the night got more crowded people were smoking weed and stoges inside the club with nobody doing anything. I understand why they did since they try to charge you to go out to smoke. But also killed the night
I will not recommend going to this place again while the owner, GM, whoever she is still there. Her presence killed the night for most we were having a great time up until then.
Went to Neo this Saturday (11/26/2011) and had a BALL. Â 2 large rooms, Red & blue room. Â 2 DJ's, 2 bars. Â Dress code was in full effect so the guys were dressed to impress ;-) Â I was on the guest list & got in free, so I'm not sure how much it cost's normally. Â On this night, the DJ was spinning R&B and Rap. Â The average drink is about $8, and they were pretty stiff (whoohooo) There was a side door that lead to a small gated area out front for smokers. Â Age group; 20's-30's. Â It was mostly a black crowd, and a handful of white & other races. Everyone was having a good time, people were friendly. Â No drama. Â I have nothing negativeto say. The ambiance was really nice, Â unlike any other Club I've been to this side of the Bay Area. Â I will definitely go again.

This past Saturday my good friend and I decided to go out on a lim and go to NEO for the first time. We usually party in SF or Oakland maybe San Jose on a good night. It was easy to get to,good parking. I was impressed by the security who wore matching shirts that said NEO (the others (club security)look like gym rats off the street in all black). It did take a long time to get in (feet were starting to hurt).
Once inside we couldn't figure out where to pay the lady at the register looked as if she didn't want our cash.
The club was BIG! i had never been to a club that size. The lighting was great,the VIP area was nice, the red room was cool to0, little smaller though. Only thing was the traffic from getting to the main room to the red room.
Had tons of fun with my girl. The crowd  was great nice mix of folks! The dj was coo but there have been tons of songs made since 2006-present that can get a party hyped then to keep playing everything KMEL plays on the regular.
It ended earlier than I'm used to.
The clubs in the BAY need to get on the east coast down south time cause clubs ending by 2am is weak when it take 2hours to get in a club. 11-2am (WEAK!!)
but over all I had a blast.the VIP was so nice i plan to do it for my bday.
This place doesn't even deserve a star, i was there Saturday for their so called Halloween event. This place sucks ass with balls and hair...don't waste ur hard earned money and precious time to go to this place...this is a  worst club everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....piece of shit hell hole....dont go pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......take it from me....dont even think of going here.....waste of gas and time....
Review Source:Came here on a Saturday night. Â The place inside is beautiful and blue, the bar is spacious and there is plenty of room to dance and another room in the back as well that is red. Â Good music in both rooms. Â Plenty of space to have bottle service. Â I also liked it because there is mixed crowd so ou get a little bit of everything so if you like variety this is a good place to party. Â There should be more bartenders working because it takes a long time to get your drink. Â Cover charge if you go early is $15. I had a pretty good time. Â Parking is also not a problem.
Review Source:I agree with it being 2 hot ( I probly lost about 4 pounds grand opening night ) & the bartenders sucked at making drinks the first night , but from friends that said they have gone back, they actually fixed the problems they had that night, for a grand opening people can't expect things to be to their liking , give them time to make it a better place for everyone . My friends n I overall had an awesome time . The staff was super nice . Security were respectful, I give them major props cause I know its just going to get better . People shouldn't hate off the first night . Give them  time to get better, be happy we have a nice club that has guess Djs & guess celebrities so close 2 home.

Got an email about 2 weeks ago from "Neo Nightclub" announcing their "Grand Opening", not sure how I got on their mailing list. I suspect it's from being on "Club Wet"s mail list (from ages ago, before people got stabbed and tasered on the dance floor).
Seeing how Wet went down the shitters fast, I didn't have much hope for this place (assuming it's the same owners or promoters). I decided to just call and get some info on bottle service to celebrate my 30th bday on 10/01. Phone call went something like this...
Douche bag: Club Neo
Me: Hi I see you guys are having your grand opening this weekend and was inquiring about bottle ser....(interrupts before I can finish my question, in a condescending voice)
Douche bag: We're are booked
Me: uuuuhhh ok thank you
Douche bag: *hangs up on me*

I don't know if its because I am getting older but I no longer have patience for people like this. I want to take my hard earned money and have a great time on the weekend, why in god's name would I patronize ANY establishment that treats potential customers like this. Its just WET nightclub in disguise, same a**holes are running this place.

I attended the opening of Club Neo recently with a group of girls. When we arrived the security had no idea how to keep the lines in control. We had bottle service, $175 for sky vodka, even though we were quoted a bottle of grey goose for that price. Our waitress took like 45 minutes to even get us out damn bottle. Since we only purchased one bottle, they also shoved us in the sweaty back room away from the large dance floor. Anyhow, there were too many people there to not have the A/C on. I think it was cooler in my hotbox yoga class. Apparently clubs do that so people would get thirstier and buy more drinks. Don't expect to get free water, they make you purchase bottled water only. They had some good promoters, that is why they had a pretty large turnout. The music was pretty good, and the crowd was very diverse. BEWARE! Apparently, there is absolutely nothing for pleasanton cops to do besides wait for everyone to leave the club. I swear there were literally like 20 cops going after people leaving one by one! I will come here over Karma though. I would have to come here again to see how the club will really turn out giving that I came here the opening night only. WELL SEE! :)

Opening Night was a hot mess for this place. For starters:
- no A/C. and don't even try to open the un-guarded rear VIP room door to let in some fresh air because the no-necked 'roid-raging power-tripper bouncer will LITERALLY THROW YOU out. Hey buddy - it's not our fault the owner didn't think to put a security guy out there
- outside signage still read "Status" as the club name. Sorry guys - it is not okay to have written in small letters, on a PAPER banner "Neo Nightclub." Really? Seriously?
- VIP room had two bartenders, at least one of which had no clue what she was doing. It should not take 20 minutes to get a bottle of water!
- VIP service was anything less than VIP. We asked for water, not even bottles, just a pitcher, from Gordon at least 3 times .. and got nothing, except for the last time we requested it and he said he'd have to charge us for it. Excuse me? Charge us for water? Nevermind that my friends and I were INVITED to be there by the club to provide pole dancing entertainment. (TWIRLY GIRLS kick arse!!)
No matter how many times this club changes it's name, it will ALWAYS remain a hot mess!
If management has changed hands they need to hire people that know what they're doing. Came here with a bunch of friends on their "grand opening" 10/1/11. You would think they would pull out all the stops, right?!? WRONG!
A) NO AC! Really, there were a million people in there and they couldn't turn on some air? NO. Let's just keep the front door open and everything will be ok.
B) Drinks were watered down and the bartender didn't even know how to make a lemon drop. I don't even know what the hell he gave me.
C) Nobody on the floor to clean up spilled drinks. Poor girls were slipping and sliding on the floor in their $15 two sizes too small skanky dresses. I guess it was dance at your own risk.
D) Absolutely NO where to sit! Unless you want to pay $350 for a whack ass bottle service in one of their "cabanas". Which I highly suggest that you don't.
E) I don't like talking bad about DJs because everybody has their own opinion about music, mixing etc. So I won't comment on the DJ.
In short...I will not be returning anytime soon. Maybe on the next grand opening because they'll change their name in two months and do the same lame thing under a different name.
