Where's the chicken??? Â I stopped in while shopping this strip mall and saw a special on the board for Mango Chicken. Â Waited about a 1/2 hour for my lunch...no other customers and it was 11:30 am??? Â Took my order home and could not believe that there was NO chicken in the Mango Chicken. Â And the mango was terribly undercooked, but fresh. Will not ever return. Had their meals before a few times before and it was below mediocre.
Review Source:What is up with the food? Â I ordered some fried raviolis and they came with hair inside. At another time (I decided to give them a second chance after a couple of months) I ordered General Tsao's Chicken and I don't know what it was. Â The chicken was still frozen together and it was smoothered in ketchup and chilis. Â Ketchup?!?!? Â Really??? Â I could have made something this awful myself - don't need to go out for that. Â Even though the hostess is really nice, this place is definitely one to stay away from.
Review Source:Pretty average Chinese food restaurant in almost every way. Prices are good, not great. Of all the Chinese places in this area, this one has little in terms of flavor. Although they are one of the few restaurants here that offer scallion pancake (wtf Lilac House), it's definitely not the best. You can barely taste or see any scallion!
Cashew Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Sesame Chicken, General Gau's - all pretty good. Veggie fried rice is ok, again not much flavor. The Crab Rangoon is VERY cream cheesy!
The food is always hot, at least. Can't say that about every place.
