Nick's has recently changed hands and it is now the best restaurant in Brambleton, by a long way.  The service is friendly and efficient, the decor is very nice, they have a well stocked bar and the food is excellent.  We had the lamb shank and moussaka and both the delicious.  We will definitely be coming back

    Service:5
    Food: 3.5

Stopped by for a quick snack and really liked the friendly atmosphere. Tried the calamari, nothing too special. And the Greek fries were actually really good, but it was pretty difficult to eat with the cheese.. but overall, it's a nice place and open til 12am would most likely come back :)

The bar area is fun, the new decor is pretty and more upscale.  I found the food to be VERY good but the service can be a little slow.  The hummus is delectable and the portions are huge.  Give this place a try.  It's in my community and I'm grateful to have another strong contender for go-to places to take friends and relatives.

Awful.. The service blowed... And the food was worse.  I tried this place when it first changed over and it was bad. Thought I'd give it another shot but ... Wow it sucked. The bartender was too busy trying to fix the pos to see that I was in need of a drink... I ordered the tebuleh and after waiting a long time the bartender apologized and said they were making it fresh..... Hun tebuleh needs time ... The bulgar wheat was crunchy to the point of cracking a tooth. Stay away...

I was pleasantly surprised at how good my meal was at Nick's Corner Grill! I stumbled upon this place during a weeknight out in Ashburn. The restaurant had a nice ambiance. They were hosting some type of meeting in the back room area, but it did not disturb my dinner.

Our waiter was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He answered all of my questions and recommended a new food item for me to try. We were first served pita chips with hummus and later flat bread. I ordered the chicken shawarma entree. It was absolutely delicious and fresh, even being served late at night. The portion size was huge! My bf ordered the kabob entree and it also looked and tasted delicious!

I think my girlfriend and I had the same beginning experience as many on here. We went in hoping to grab a burger and a beer. We ordered our beer and opened the menu and said WTH??? What happened?? We felt bad since we already ordered our beer and decided to stay and give it a shot.. We both were so glad that we did. The food is amazing!! The pita chips and homemade hummus they give you (free) is probably the best I have ever had!! Thumbs up to the food, menu, and friendly staff! we will be back

Highly recommend the Gyro and the Salmon

Nick's transformed from pub fare to Greek/Med fare recently. And it was for the better. The owner is greek,, and he knows how to make it. The ingredients were some of the freshest around and the parts of each dish were made fresh. Home made pita chips, seasoned and served with freshly made hummus to start and the entres just get better.
Its hard to describe food but this place is now one of my favorites! The food is by far the tastiest and the size of the portions are huge. Easily split-able by two people, but I gave the Musaka all I could to get it all down and still failed. I have also tried the Gyro which, Nick's is now my go to place for a sandwhich ir Gyro,, it was the best
Just go, you wont be disappointed and if you are,, bring me your left-overs.

I've lived in Greece/Crete, in the military, and I can tell you from being there, it doesnt get any closer to being there without a little dog walking around and waiter doing shots with your table.

At one time, Nick's was one of my favorite places to take visitors - an easy location to get to, their restaurant was fun and the food was good.  My very favorite were their Louisiana style pork-chops with stuffing.  That was a dish to remember.  Their salads were generous and fresh, their service was good as well. Over time, things seemed to slip a little but we stayed loyal.  Months went by without a visit, and when a foodie-cousin of ours came to stay with us, I thought for sure that we should take her there.

We entered, sat down eagerly, and as I started to peruse the menu, I noticed the light was dim and the menu unfamiliar.  What-the-what!?!?!?  I turned around to see some sort of Italian or Greek motif going on.  Flashing back to the menu, I realized to my horror that Nick's had changed genre's from neo-creole to Mediterranean food.   Hosting a guest, I embarrassingly voiced what everyone heretofore had already realized, this was not the same place I thought I was at.

So I won't review their new menu as we politely told the waiter that we were hungry for creole and would like to depart - he graciously facilitated that.  Next time we feel like Med-food, we'll head there, but it's too bad - the previous menu was great.  I don't know what the story is, but something apparently went wrong and they changed genres.

Nicks - will try you again, but you're temporarily out of our rotation.  2-stars for not being the place I used to frequent any more.

Been there multiple times. Nice hangout place in Ashburn... I went there and had something new this time and was blown away. I'm so used to trying the usual Hummas, baba gaboush... but this time I tried a spicy cheese appetizer with the name something like Terokafiteri.... It was amazing. Both me and my wife loved it.. I am also very impressed with the bar attender. SInce it was after 9.30 PM we were seated at the bar area... which was nice..

Only issue that I had was my main dish.. we ordered beef shawarma.. and for some reason.. it didn't taske like it was carved off from the traditional shawarma skewer. It was more like pan or skillet cooked breef tenders with some spices similar to Indian dishes. And thus the 4 star instead of 5.

The salad was amazing with some vinegret or lime juice dressing...
I"d go back and try something else next time.. but without doubt a good spot in Ashburn.

So happy with the changes to Nick's Corner Grill - LOVE the new Mediterranean Fare and hoping Brambleton residents and others will give it another try!  Would love to see some outdoor seating as an option in the future but much improved.....

So I am going to raise my stars.  They remodeled and changed menus.  They now serve Greek fare.  We were skeptical but after hearing good reviews fromother Brambleton residents we deicded why not.  It is a total transformation.  The food was much better.  Is it my favorite Greek restaurant?  No.  But I like the fact that if I really wanted I could walk here.   The hummus and pita were great.  The chicken souvlaki was decent and my husband enjoyed the mousakka which is made in house.   The waitress was a little slow considering there was only 3 other tables in the restaurant that was occupied.   The bar seemed like there was a good crowd and with lots of people watching football.  I would totally check it out again!

Service is bad. Bad. Bad.  On a slow night with 4 tables, the waitress takes FOREVER to check in, be seen etc.  You get about 4 triangles of pita with the hummus.  If you want more it's a $1.  Really?

Saganaki was really good.  Hummus only OK.....  and while waiting more than 10 minutes since the pita bread ran out, less and less enjoyable.

Why can't another restaurant of Blue Ridge caliber join the Brambleton Town Center?

New menu newer friendlier staff. Good food for the price. If you had a bad experience before try this place again it's much better.

Went in about six on a Saturdaynight to a nearly empty place...three tables and one guy at the bar.  Not a good sign.  I wasn't feeling in the mood for greek food but I did go with the Greek Burger.  I'm glad I did.  Nice sized burger covered with feta, on top of a fresh pita and surrounded by plenty of lettuce tomato and onions. Really good!

Next time I'll be more adventurous.  I just hope that last night was not indicative of the usual crowd or it won't be around long..and that would be a real shame.

The high stars come from the food.Given better service and wait staff, this would have been five starts. The food is much improved with the new menu but the bar staff is still catering to the young and the boob job.

The drinks are more than over priced and while the grape leaves tasted good, the rice inside was still crunchy. It's a step in the right direction but they seem to still be suffering from an identity crisis as to if they are a bar or a restaurant.

Before you write this place off- look at recent reviews of their new menu! Nick's is no longer a so-so American restaurant and bar- it's an authentic Mediterranean gem. One half of their ownership bought out the other half, and is now cooking delicious greek food exclusively. Delicious! Love their new menu and i have been dying for a good med. place in Brambleton and this is the perfect addition to the town center. We had the mezze sampler and mixed grille kabob the other night and were very pleased. The Kibbeh is delicious too and the bar prices are reasonable. i only wish they delivered!

I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the complete 180 it's made in the past few months.  Completely new menu and my group decided we would all get something different so we could have a little taste of everything.  We tried the hummus/combo appetizer as well as a spinach/puff pastry appetizer.  All were very impressive, my personal favorite was the spinach puff pastry.  I had the gyro.  I figured that would be the best gauge of a greek/lebanese restaurant and it definitely passed the test with flying colors.  One thing that was out of this world: the PITA! The pita bread was warm and just the right weight/texture/consistency.  I couldn't stop eating the little pita points they gave us with the hummus appetizer. yummmmo Lastly, I couldn't leave without trying the bacclava (sp?) there were three different types (i didn't know 3 types exsisted) but they were all delicious.  I would go there again for coffee and bacclava.  One thing that I would warn diners about; they prepare their coffee and leave the grinds at the bottom? I guess that's traditional? Either way, it was strong and hit the spot.  I hope that they keep up this quality!

New food. New atmosphere. New staff. Nick's is back to being a top choice restaurant. I've tried it before and was less than impressed, but, they have really stepped up their game. Mediterranean menu is amazing and the food is as close to authentic as you will get in this area. Staff is very friendly and attentive. I can't say enough about the food! They must have brought in someone new to the kitchen. Also, a new wall seprates the bar and dining area. Good call. If your looking for good food and drinks, definitely try Nick's.

It's close, that's worth a star I guess....Other than that the neighborhood has turned its back on this place due to years of poor food and poor service. We've been a couple times and have had mediocre to bad food and terrible to horrible service.

They're apparently revamping the menu, but to be honest the menu wasn't the problem. It's everything else. I hope they turn things around, but more than a menu update and a coat of pain is needed. Someone call Gordon Ramsey!

My wife and I like to eat here before we go to Fox Cinema. This evening we stopped in and the waitress started to seat us next to a family that had three children running all over the place. They were running and screaming all over the small stage. We asked to be seated in the bar because of the screaming children. That didn't help. The parents just let their three children run and scream and the management did nothing about it. We left and went to the Blue Ridge Grill and had a wonderful dinner before going to the theatre. This is not the first time this happened. We won't be back.

Follow up: We went back again and had a similar experience. We spoke to the manager about the children running all over the place and he said "We don't interfere with the parents and their children." After hearing that we told him that we were leaving and would not return. We don't waste our time on this place anymore.

We do not mine well behaved children in a restaurant, or even a noisy or unruly child as long as the parents deal with it; but to allow your children to run all over the place while others are trying to eat their dinner is not acceptable in my opinion.  This place has no control over the children.  Bye Bye.

This is a great place to grab a burger, or a soup and salad. We went here had a great experience. The Reuben was really good and the fries are great. Nice layout, and just a place to go when you want some comfort food. I saw they had a macaroni and cheese casserole which just sounds like you have to try it!

Pros: Great happy hour prices, Friendly bartenders, decent poker venue
Cons: Lack of weekend drink specials outside football season, high turnover of employees, bad karoke setup (too loud)

Liked the place.  Went for Sunday drinks and food.   Spinach and artichoke dip was great.  Fried calamari came with cocktail sauce instead of marinara.  Thought about requesting marinara but the cocktail was actually pretty good with it.

One main concern - the prime rib WAS NOT PRIME RIB.

The crab cakes were excellent though.  I'll be back - just stick to sammiches or crab cakes.

Less I review the better about this place. A very mediocre restaurant at a great location. I gave it couple of chances and decided to give up on it. I never understand why people still eat there when there are way better restaurants in that complex.Maybe the concept of Sports Bar appeals to some.

Literally at the corner of Brambleton's strip mall and is a good place for happy hour deals. The bartenders are always friendly and the drinks are ok. They have good happy specials on bar food such as the seafood basket or wings. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a dark bar. Expect to see a range of family goers, college kids and an older crowd.

We had a party of seven on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress looked as if she hated her life and her job, always a good sign. Two of us had burgers which were actually decent. Can I have a few more fries, though?  Another member of our party had a crabcake sandwich which was ok. One child had a typical chicken tender plate which wasn't terrible. My son had a grilled cheese sandwich that was pretty bad. Honestly, how can you not let a grilled cheese finish grilling?  The worst plate was my wife's nachos. They would've had a chance were it not for the fake cheese polymer sauce straight from a high school football game snack bar. We won't be back.

We won't be coming back. Five of us went to lunch around 1pm.  I'd asked to order something from the kids menu so I could also order soup (which would have been more expensive total than what I was going to order from the adult menu) but the kitchen told our server we couldn't order anything off the kids menu. So they ended up getting less money from us than they would have. Oh well for them.

We were one of 3 or 4 tables of guests. One table of 2 ordered at the same time as we did, received their food and were able to finish before our food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. The grilled cheese was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted, the fries were cold on all of our plates, the burger was decent, the wraps were okay and the plain chicken sandwich that was supposed to have nothing on it had everything on it. The chicken sandwich was fixed quickly. The person who ordered the grilled cheese sent it back and didn't order anything else to replace it. We didn't have time because we had to get back to work.

We know it wasn't the server's fault, but the fact that one of us didn't get to eat, we were late getting back to work, and after everything, the manager didn't apologize for the cold food or long delay? We'd seen 2 or 3 of the other tables who had faster service get free pieces of cheesecake, and nothing was offered to us. That kind of topped off the whole experience.

I just can stand the food, its never consistent.  I would not eat there unless everything else is closed.

My advice? Drink here, don't eat here.  The food is barely passable, and the jambalaya lacked the crawfish described on the menu, which was the whole reason I ordered that dish in the first place. My boyfriend's salmon was very dry and the plate was such a conglomeration of different items it was hard to tell where to start. Service was fine, for the most part but that only matters when you get what you ordered. The TVs are nice so I'd say it's place to catch a game.

This place is a non-chain Chili's or Fridays or the like.  We went for dinner tonight after the Blue Ridge Grill's wait was over an hour.  I had the tequila lime chicken linguine and he had the jambalaya, which the waiter recommended. Mine was good except the chicken tasted processed/frozen/something.  The flavors were good despite the chicken.  The jambalaya was tasty, but not very cajun-y.  The service was attentive, so 3.5 stars with that incorporated.  $50 for the meal (3 drinks) and they brought over a free cheesecake slice.

not bad for a night hangout place in Ashburn, the place is never crowded and they have respectable selection of brews.. food may be secondary as it may be more of a hag out spot with live music on weekends.. food is not bad.... appetizers are good... steak was ok..

The atmosphere is beautiful, but the menu leaves much to be desired - just not my cup of tea.

I love coming here - they have amazing happy hour specials at the bar.  The food is also very good: very high quality at a very reasonable price.
The staff is always friendly and almost every time we've been there, Nick himself (I think) shook our hands on the way out and thanked us for coming by.  They also had a great Mardi Gras celebration just a few weeks ago which was a lot of fun!

The downside to Nick's is that the menu is fairly limited - they have things you won't find at other places, but they're missing a lot of the classics for picky eaters like myself.  It would be nice to see some additional chicken dishes.

Went here for the second time last night.   I ordered the Vidalia Onion soup, which was good to start.  It had tons of melted provolone on top!  They had 1/2 off burgers last night which is FANTASTIC on a budget.
I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was great.  They season the french fries with something similar to old bay so if you don't like old bay...i wouldn't recommend the fries.  At the end of the meal the waitress brought over a complimentary chocolate mousse for the table to share.  Overall good experience.

Great place to hang out and have some drinks. Check their schedule, sometimes they have really great bands. And sometimes they have a DJ but once I was there and the DJ played nothing but dance music-dance music with NO WORDS the entire night. Pretty disappointing BUT all the other times I was there, the music was good. We had a friends birthday get together here, they have a big area in the back of the restaurant that they are more then willing to accommodate you with. Great service staff. Another downfall, food is not good, and if you like to smoke when you drink, you must step outside..overall, I like it here, nice environment for big groups.

After working a bit later than I intended - I ate dinner here this evening. The place was sparsely populated with diners when I walked in - I opted to sit at a high top in the bar area.

I was feeling in the mood for something in the Cajun arena - so I was cautiously optimistic when I saw they had fried catfish on the appetizer menu, and Jambalaya as an entree. I ordered both, along with a glass of water and a 14 oz. glass of Dominion Ale.

I was pretty disappointed in both dishes - the catfish batter had almost no flavor - thankfully the spicy remoulade they provided masked the lack of any flavor.

The Jambalaya was the same way. Very mild - almost no flavor. I added salt, black pepper, and quite a bit of Tabasco Sauce to give it some life.

The highlight of the meal? At least the Dominion Ale was predictably refreshing!

The service was attentive - no issues there.

I want to like this place - it has nice ambiance, and lots of gorgeous, crystal-clear High-Def displays in the Bar area. Might be a good place to come for a few drinks.

We found Nicks while waiting for a movie time at the Fox theaters right behind Nicks.  We have been there twice so far, and both times have been great.

Best sit down restaurant hamburger I have ever had, (5 Guys still rules) but the thing that we keep talking about are the Fried Green Tomatoes, wow!  Perfect.

However, service has not been perfect, but not bad enough to knock it to 4 stars.  We figure they just opened, and you can tell they are really trying, (the Manager jumped in to help his struggling waitress last time) must be hard to find quality wait staff so far out.  If we run into service issues again, ill revise this review.   But for now, we are really happy, good food wins out!
