This is definitely a dive bar.  I used to frequent this place a lot more in the past than I do now, but it's not to say I don't like it anymore.  The service is really good, the bartenders are always really friendly.  The crowd is usually always about the same, but that's okay.  I like that this bar has an outdoor patio, that way if it gets too crowded inside, there's another place to go.  It has a pool table and darts, and there is karaoke on Thursday nights (Friday nights too sometimes).  I like this bar because I'm always guaranteed to recognize a friendly face.

Jared and Christy are the best bar tenders ever. They are on top of things and Jared doesn't allow any crap in his bar. Friday nights are karaoke with DJ Steve. He is really good too. During the summer the traffic kind of dies down but come winter it will be packed with people. There is a smoking patio, you can order Ange's Pizza or Wings from Roadhouse and they bring it there and it goes on your bar tab. Buckets of beer and drafts are pretty cheap.

Now I'm all about the dive bars and this one is one.  I am sick of dive bars in strip malls though and unfortunately this is one of those, too!!

Not much to offer unusual here.  I will give credit that the bartenders were friendly and good, but the crowd was not great in any way measurable, except to say it was crowd-ed.  Mostly Hilliard-billys (and I can say that cause I am one at times).  Try Lucky's instead.

Wow, I felt like someone should update the Nike Lounge reviews. The interior is fairly well lit, almost too lit for a bar. The taps at Nike aren't anything out of the ordinary. The service is pretty good, even on busy nights.

The televisions in the bar have all been upgraded, and they've got a nice little stage area for Karaoke on Friday and bands on Saturday.

I highly recommend going if you want to have some fun and drink.

The Nike Sports Lounge is a neighborhood bar, plain and simple. There are no bells or whistles here, just a big bar, taps, and a few good liqueurs.

This isn't a place I'd like to go for a night out, but it's close to home, and sometimes you just need a beer and a change of venue.

There are several mid-sized TVs at Nike; none of them are flat screens. Despite the name, there didn't seem to be much sports watchin' going on at this sports lounge. Sure, there were a few games and a race on TV, but no one was really paying attention to any of that, and many of the TVs don't have subtitles.

The crowd here is mainly older. Most of them look like they've just been released from a GM plant somewhere. There's a pool table in the back and a small patio behind that. Roadhouse Wings is next door, and there's a tiny window where the waitresses exchange food from one establishment and drinks from the other. I think what I liked most is that there were a few newspapers on the bar. I'm a sucker for a good read.

Beers were 1.50 each. They had Bud, Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light plus Killians, but that was 2.00 for a short.

Our bartender was young and blonde. She sang to the songs that were playing as she waited on us and the rest of the crew that had saddled up to the bar. She kept a good eye on us to make sure we stayed satisfied. We didn't drink too much, but she didn't seem to mind. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy another drink. She let us stick around and chat over our empty glasses.

Would I go back to Nike? Perhaps if I was in the mood to drink just a few beers with a crowd of strangers. But the crowd wasn't really my style. Next time, I might just grab a six pack from the carryout next door and take it back to my apartment.
