Went to Old Town yeasterday for dinner, I spent the whole night in the bathroom. Â I had the Sour Crout Pierogi. Â I don't know what the problem was, perhaps the sourcrout was old but not very impressed at all. I've been there before and same experiance without getting sick, so I'm not going back again.
Review Source:I don't understand how a restaurant can be in business for 20 years and only have 10 reviews. Â Here, let me make it 11.
Not being familiar with Lemont eateries, I trusted my fellow yelpers to point me in the right direction. Â Once again, they came through. Â It is definitely NOT Â American food.
It is sort of Polish with a twist.
It is a small, intimate, place: Â 11 booths and 6 tables, 2 of the tables were set up for 6. Â Wood ceiling and plenty of ethnic decor. Â Home cooked, family recipes, can't go wrong. Â If you don't like the way it is offered, they will prepare it to your specifications. Â Once my husband got over the color of the gravy for his Sauerbraten, he slopped up every bite. Â And the best part, dessert is included with your meal.
Our server, Martin, was very attentive and answered all our questions, and his beer recommendation ~ a BIG success.
From the bread basket to the kolacky, everything was delicious.
