Peg's Restaurant

Nothing Spectacular, or even good.  My girlfriend's sandwich had a hair, my French toast was dry and you cannot substitute for the hash or potatoes, you get them or you don't.  So much for healthy eating.  Bacon was greasy and wicked salty.  The décor is old and dirty and the bathrooms smell.  Oh....the menus are sticky too.  Can you say Restaurant: Impossible?  The kicker, CASH ONLY.  You are a restaurant in a tourist area and you're cash only?  Anyways.....one star (if that) and I will not be returning.

Best breakfast for 20 miles... nothing trendy, no frills, just a great breakfast! I come here from time to time... maybe 5 - 6 times a year. Even though they have a lunch menu, I have only been here for breakfast. There's something about a "breakfast all day" place. Food is always good and the staff is always helpful and fun. I sit at the counter so I can read the paper and give a hard time to the staff. They play right along and give it right back. They have a good local crowd as well as visitors from all over. Great job!

There are so many good breakfast places around, why would you come here to eat?
This place is awful. I really believe I can make a better breakfast at home then anything they have on the menu. It has been a while since I've been here but bad experiences stick in your mind. I remember people at the next table complaining about how bad the omelets were and I believe them.
