Was on the mountain for the Hwy 127 Yard Sale. This place looked good from the outside. Not many other places to eat so we figured we would stop in for some lunch. Ordered the beef brisket with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Brisket was the the toughest cut of meat I have ever had. I could not even cut it with the butter knife they provided. Also parts of it could not even be chewed. Worst Brisket I have ever had. Must not have been smoked like they said cause there is no way it would have been as tough as it was. Mashed potatoes were runny but ok. Fried okra was fried but not long enough. Some of the okra was still raw on the inside. My wife ordered pulled chicken. Comes out and its slicked deli style chicken. Not pulled at all.
If a place is going to pride themselves on BBQ then they need to be able to use the smoker they had out back. This place was a total let down and I left pretty upset and disappointed. When you serve sliced chicken when you advertise pulled chicken you must not know what is going on. My advice is stay away. Don't waste your money.
Can't believe this place has been open since May -- just visited it for the first time yesterday and will be back!
Good food, good beer selection on draft, nice decor, great staff. Â Not sure why there aren't many places with beer on the mountain, but glad this place is open!
We watched the SEC Championship game there and it was great -- big TV, clear sound.
The mac n cheese has spicy peppers in it -- YUM!
Decided to stop on Signal Mountain for lunch today with a buddy. Â He suggested this place and I'm glad he did. Â I had a burger and fries and it was delicious. Â I would like to come back and hang out and have a few beers sometime. Â The decor was a cross between biker roadhouse and sports bar. Â The staff was friendly and overall an enjoyable experience. Â I will definitely go back.
