We were in town for a few days to meet some friends for wine tasting and headed to the Pine Street Saloon for a few pints after dinner on Thursday night. Â We had a great time people watching, playing pool, and getting to know some of the locals. Â Ron and Kim made us feel very welcome and took good care of us. Â We had such a great time Thursday night, we went back Friday and joined in on the Karaoke. Â It was packed and so much fun! Â It's quite a bit of country, with some rock n roll too. Â Next time we are in Paso, we will definitely go back. Â Really enjoyed our two nights there and the locals and staff made us feel like we were locals too!
Review Source:OK, I try to overlook the reviews when it comes to dive bars, especially the pours and service. Â I dropped in for a quick drink after my dismal Roberts experience. Â I was prepared for the cash only, placing my money on the bar, and ordered a 7&7 from the polite bartender. Â What I received was a glass of watered down flat something, come on now...I chalked it up to shuda stuck with my normal Jameson neat..I spotted a whiskey behind the bar I had not tasted before "Kully" Â and was offered a taste, I commented that it tasted pretty damn good. Â The bartender nodded and walked down to the end of the bar to the fly covered, obnoxious, dirty leering drunks and ignored my empty 7&7 glass..when I say empty, I mean empty as ice had melted and it was dry..I gave her five more minutes..said fuck it and left with my cash and her tip. Â I could understand if the bar was packed, but it was 6 pm, and there were four people in the place, me being the fourth. Â Hey, you want my business, I don't expect to be treated like a king, just fill my damn glass, or ask if I want it to be filled. Â Just cause you have tits and the locals make you feel like your a beauty queen don't make it so.
