We were travelling through town to watch a state qualifying basketball game and stopped for a quick bite of pizza. Hey, it even had the name to grab our attention! PIZZA PALACE!
It's your standard hole in the wall pizza joint! Iowa Style!
We loved it. The pizza was really good! The service was laid back, friendly, and down home. They even had a classic arcade version of Pac-Man! How cool is that?!
If you go with the pizza...I recommend the thin crust! They cut it in a mid-west style (squares) but its good!
I also recommend saurkraut lovers to get the supreme pizza WITH sauerkraut. First time I've ever ventured to have sauerkraut on my pizza. I'll call it pizza with a German twist! (I know...sounds disgusting, but suprisingly good).
If you are out in the back country in Iowa and you are travelling through this little town of fredricksburg...give it a try!
