Plaza Inn Family Restaurant

A small group of us stopped for breakfast before our outing over the weekend. This place has a nice feel to it, almost like a country store, cracker barrel type of decor to it, but a setting on its own. If you fly a plane, you can always stop here, there's a small grass airfield behind the place.

They offer a weekend breakfast buffet, but we decided to go with regular selections off the menu. Breakfast here is really good, from the sausage gravy, eggs, bacon, pancakes, everything was wonderful. The also have several days with all you can eat fish and other buffet specials. The menu has a lot to choose from with a nice wide selection, but not too much that it overwhelms you. The hospitality was nice, the workers are friendly and seem to have worked here for quite some time.

I don't find myself coming back often, do to it's location from where I am, but it's a place I do look forward to coming back to if I journey in this direction again. It's really worth checking out if you love a good breakfast. Prices here are very reasonable.

This place has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember.  I just recently had their Sunday "Bountiful Family" buffet for the first time and it was incredible!  Broasted chicken, fried fish, ham and roast beef carved to order.  Typical side dishes - mashed potatoes, green beans and some red skin potatoes that were delicious.  Their dessert options on the buffet are endless.  It's like going to a church potluck.

Their regular menu is extensive and I've never had a bad meal.  I like their broasted chicken and their patty melt.

On a nice day you might be fortunate to see a plane fly in, as they have an airstrip next to the restaurant.

Ate here a few times on my travels to Canada. Its really a great find. They have a buffet on Sundays that is to die for. Its home cooked food but served so you can keep going back.  So if you need to stop somewhere is this small town then make this your stop. You wont be dissappointed. I remember them having chicken in a couple different forms and some of the best gravy you'd ever eat.
