Ponderosa Steak House

This was most likely the worst place I've ever eaten. Everything looked dry as If it's been sitting out for hours. Not much selection besides a salad bar. Don't waste your money. We actually had to eat somewhere else after we left.

First, disregard any previous, outdated, derogatory review.

Steaks galore here but their Lunch Buffet is a genuine favorite. Anybody I'd taken here was happy. If you love fresh variety in salads, soups, side dishes, meat including the Fried Chicken and steak with mushrooms and onions, you'll love this place. Desserts like Bread Pudding and soft Ice Cream are something most people don't leave room for. Sunday Bruch is another great possibility here. Rustic atmosphere does well. Like a defunct chain in NYC,  years ago , crassly used as a tagline: 'You gotta eat it to believe it :} '

Be looking for coupons in locally mailed magazine, coupon booklet, and Sunday paper. Check Front Street sign for specials. Also, many seniors ask for and enjoy Ponderosas' Senior Buffet.

This place was just horrible.  Small, dry, poor cuts of steak and gloppy, starchy, gross food bar selections.  We went here on a whim while visiting the area.  Never again.  Yuk!
