Ate here on a Friday evening and the place was almost empty. That's too bad, the staff were very good and the food was delicious . I had the fresh ginger chicken and my girls had sushi. Â Not as good as their favorite place back home, but much better than many other sushi places we've been.
Review Source:An incredible mix of Thai dishes and Sushi menu. Â I found this place while just passing by on the road and I'm so glad I went in. Â So happy to have found this restaurant in the middle of an American beach comfort food zone, so not at all what I was expecting this close to the beach!! Â The staff also real friendly and accommodating.
I went for lunch, and after staring at the menu with too many choices, I settled on a basic Red Curry dish with chicken and California roll. Â Talk about delicious! Â The vegetables in the curry dish were crisp and cooked perfectly, not to mention tasty, the chicken very moist, and the curry a great mix of coconut milk and mild Thai chili peppers that just sings. Â I poured some on the side of rice that it comes with and was instantly Zen. Â As for the California roll, it was as basic as one can get and that's what made the ingredients stand out all the more. Â No mayo in any of their sushi. Â The roll was made with crisp seaweed, cucumber, avocado, and imitation crap. Â Average ingredients make all the difference in a roll like this and it really popped. Â Next time I'm back I hope it's for dinner and not just lunch, so I can try the sashimi and more of their authentic Thai dishes.
As a side, while I was there a couple came in and ordered the Tom Yum soup (no coconut milk in this one), and 8 pieces of White Tuna sashimi. Â You know how good it is when the fish alone features itself with a healthy bowl of soup.
Will definitely come back to this restaurant when I'm in the area again.
