Pardon my french but WHAT THE HECK!?! 2 stars?!!? you people are nutso, crazy, cookoo!
This is my go-to Popeye's. I've been coming here for eight years! The staff is always fast and friendly. The location couldn't possibly be any more choice and the food is the same standard Popeye's food that you get at every location.
I don't know what the complaints are for? Surely these reviewers didn't know what they were getting into when they patronized this place. Noobz. It's not supposed to be gourmet, it's fast-food-fried-chicken.
This Popeye's is top-notch.
The manager is really nice too - IF anything goes wrong he's always quick to help rectify the situation.
psh, 2 stars, *shakes head*
FIVE stars. FIVE.
(I typically follow suit with the yelping majority, but not here)
If this is the location in Ogilvie food court then it is the worst Popeyes ever. Not only do they charge you roughly 20% of a markup on their food compared with normal brick-and-mortar Popeyes locations, they also refuse to honor their own coupons. I walked 6 blocks to redeem one of their coupons which I had received that very same day, and when I got they told me they would not accept it. The food is the same as any other location, but the management is horrible and cheap.
PS - Mcdonalds in the same food court WILL accept competitor coupons.
This Popeyes is just like any other Popeyes except for one thing... It's completely run by Indians! Â I was shocked, usually fast food places are completely run by Hispanics but this time it was completely run by Indians. Â It's weird that I have gotten used to the Hispanic way of English and I had a hard time communicating with the cashier. Â I even found a hair in my food. Â Needless to say I'm not going back, but the chicken still tasted like any other Popeyes. Â I prefer KFC...
