The menu is pricey but the servings are large so you definitely won't leave hungry.  The layout is very open so sound carries. The bartender dropped the f-bomb several times during the first 15 minutes we were there. Another server was leaning against the bar staring down at something going on on his cell phone.  Our table server was indifferent if not snippy--until the bill came. If you are hungry and want to pay just under 10.00 for a hamburger while watching sports on t.v. then give it a try. If you are looking for a welcoming, warm, and fuzzy place, keep looking.

I've held the fourth star back because of their prices, considering they are a sports bar, after all.  Everything else here I like.  It's a decent sized place, very clean with lots of nice flat screen TV's & a couple of projection screens.  It doesn't matter where you sit, you WILL see the game.  Oh, and they don't have music blaring over the big game either - they have the audio on so you can see AND hear the action.

The service was quick and friendly.  They have a HUGE menu, which we found surprising.  We weren't expecting to have so many choices from a sports bar...they have a whole page worth of items on the menu that's just steaks and pasta dishes.  We did find the "Chef's Corner" area of the menu a bit confusing...I'm guessing those are their "specialty" or "signature" items.  Most places put those items in the appropriate area/category of the menu and then highlight them in some way (which I would prefer) but not here.  So there I was surprised they didn't have a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich on the menu when my hubby pointed out they do, it's just not listed with the sandwiches, it's in the "Chef's Corner".

Everything we tried tasted good & was good quality.  I liked that there were a few choices for side items with the burgers/sandwiches (fries, onion rings, coleslaw or cottage cheese).  But I did think many things were a bit overpriced.  $7.50 for fried zucchini or fried mushrooms?  Maybe they are giving you a pound and a half of 'em, I don't know - but that's the same price they are charging for 12 fried shrimp...I don't know, I guess most places are raising their prices these days just to make ends meet.  I do like how a few of their items, such as potato skins, have a half-order available. And they have various drink specials every day except Saturdays (at least according to their website).

Been there plenty of times. Old ownership and new. Food is great. Service is great. The two new owners are always there and they are meat heads.  No personality and it seems they really do not care about semi regulars.  We have spent a ton of money there but because of the new ownership we are going to find another place.   I hope they do well but I'm not going to help them.

This place is starting to grow on me a bit .... This is a Blackhawks bar!!

Service has gotten a bit better....still priced a little high, but
what else is over there besides the drive thru places in front of Menard's?

My husband and I have been to this restaurant on multiple occasions and really enjoy the atmosphere and food.  Its a small place but has a unique charm.  They offer a large menu with plenty of drinks available.  The burgers are very good and the pizza looked tasty although we haven't tried it.  Its a nice change of pace from chain restaurants.

Been here quite a few Sundays, due to the Loaded Bloody Mary for $5. Very good bloody for the price.
I've tried quite a few things on the menu, and most of the stuff doesn't disappoint. You can't beat the prices and portions though. Most times I end up taking half of my meal home with me. Would definitely recommend this place to friends!

Still as amazing as the first time I came here!!

My bf and I wanted to grab dinner on a wednesday night and he came up with the idea of us calling it in before we left, so then when we got there we wouldn't have a long wait. he is so smart! I called and placed our order of a small pan pizza with sausage and a small thin crust with mushrooms. She repeated my order to me and said we could pay when we got there.

We walked in and told them we had called and they said our pizza would be ready in about 5 minutes. We ordered a beer and then our waitress brought out our pizza....yes one pan pizza with sausage and mushroom. We told her the mistake, and she said how sorry she was and would make us our pizza right away. My bf said he would just keep the pan, but they could make me my thin crust, she asked if we were sure and went to place our order. O well it was worth a try, right.
When she brought my pizza out she said it was going to be free because of the mix up, wow was not expecting that, SUPER NICE, they did not have to do that!!

I come back for the amazing food and the friendly staff!!

My all time favorite hang out during the day. There is much to like here starting with a friendly inviting and consistent staff that works regular hours Monday through Friday. I can't speak about the weekends and nights but if your a daytime person looking for a drink or a great lunch, stop in and give it a try.

This place has been open a little longer than 5 years and that is saying something for a start up local bar in this economy and the reason isn't hard to understand after ordering your first meal here. The food is simply above average quality for the price. The portions are large and the ingredients are fresh and vibrant and full of flavor.

There is something to be said for a great bartender or a great server and regardless of where you sit here, your going to get great service that makes you smile, pair that with the outstanding food and you can't miss.

Hands down the best thin crust pizza in all of the suburbs.  Typical sports bar/restaurant combo, but I don't go there for the ambiance.  The rest of the menu is very very good as well.  But you have to get the pizza.  It's OUT. STANDING.

The pizza is certainly above average.  But I ended up here looking for the best burger in the area.  Some websites pointed me in the direction of the Randall Roadhouse.  I was ready to not believe the hype.  But, after having their burgers on 4 different occasions, I can certainly say they are "THE BEST IN THE AREA".  Every detail is right.  The burger, the bun, even the pickle.  Perfect burger.

Not sure what the in-restaurant dining experience is like, I've always gotten take out.

    Decent pub with decent pizza...

I think the pizza has a little too much cheese in spite of asking for easy cheese but still when it's hot.. It's very tasty...

It's hard to mess up pizza and beer.

The staff I had was polite but not overly friendly...

Great place - tons of t.v.s and a nice area for sitting if you don't want to be at the bar.  Lots to look at on the walls!  Try the huge steak nachos - one of our favorites.

I have been going/getting delivery from this place for the last three years. I've only ordered a few select items. Their Chicago style pizza, panzerottis, and potato skins are out of this world! The restaurant itself is a touch small, but the food makes up for it... I'm a lifelong customer!

Great local joint. Fun servers, nice bartenders. GREAT pizza! A little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Salads, sandwiches, pizza, tons of appetizers. Lots of TV's. Loud. We watched the final game of the Stanley Cup here and it was a blast! Have never had ANYTHING we didn't like here. My father in law gets the pepper and egg sandwich and loves it. My husband loves the patty melt (even though it's not as good as Parkside in Huntley). Mostly, we get the pizza.

In a land (area) filled with chain restaurants, this is a great non-chain place to eat.  The food is great.  I had the home made chicken flautas with a home made chipotle and home made guacamole and pico!  If you like prepared frozen food don't go here!  My father-in-law said his chicken taco salad was the best he ever had.  The bosco sticks were awesome.  This is a very family friendly place.

I am new to this area, and I have given this place 2 chances, even though the first time I had a very similar crappy experience.

Their food is ok, nothing special at all which is expected from a regular bar.  My main problem is with their "regulars" whom happen to stare you down the moment you walk in like its southern 1920 and you're black.

The worst part is the table with the most obnoxious people, who just sit there mean-mugging and give you a hard time for using the juke-box.  They had a SERVER that WORKS THERE whom had just gotten off her shift and joined them, she just sat there laughing it off with them.

I can't believe how Neanderthalish these people can be, all we did was order food, play some Golden T and get some tunes going.  We kept to our selves and disregarded everything until one of my buddies got shoved aside from one of the guys going to the restroom.  We could have made it a point to take the 3 Twerps outside and put a few dents in their fragile frames, but figured we'd be gentlemen and just leave.  The place would probably put it on us since we're new customers anyways.

I figured a nice midwest suburb 2 weeks from 2010 would have gotten past trailer-trash behavior, but I was wrong.  Even the bartender was less than courteous.

It's their loss because we are new in this town and looking for a close-by bar to start visiting and bringing friends and family to.  I will never go there again, it's not like their food warrants taking such hostile treatment;  I had the spicy chicken burger with jalapeno and it was less than average.  Their poppers were average, but they did have a decent Diablo Shrimp appetizer.

I plan writing a letter to the owner regarding that idiotic server, in case he cares to make new customers.

To be fair our server was nice, and perhaps when you visit during different hours (I visited in the evening on both counts), perhaps you won't run into trashy people like this.

Best bar in the area. Everything on the menu is phenomenal. Must trys: steak sandwich, chicken flautas, steak nachos, french onion soup, fried chicken dinner, PIZZA, quesadillas, pasta with vodka sauce and the burgers. Also, even though  I haven't tried it, heard the chicken salad sandwich is amazing too. The waitstaff takes care of you like family and the bartenders know how to make a good drink. Overall, awesome.

Randalls road house has a cozy bar/restaurant atmosphere. Their food is very good.  I highly suggest their cheesy beef panzarotti, once of the best things I've ever tasted.

Randall roadhouse has been open for about 2 years now and i have enjoyed it the few times i have been there.  They recently won the BEST BURGER award for the entire mchenry county and this award was through the daily herald and done by the people, not some food critics.

This place is a bar/restaurant with more of a bar than restaurant.  As you enter you notice a very large and long bar, lots of large TV's and a large projector TV as well.  To your right there are some stairs that take you up to a higher level (but still in the same room) to where there are about 15-20 tables and booths to sit down and eat.  Since there is smoking in the bar area, i could imagine on a busy day the smoke would carry up to the eating area, but we have gone in the afternoons since it's less crowded (i have kids).

Of course i had to get the burger, and let me tell you, its the best ive had in the NW suburbs.  My other favorite was the village squire burgers but these are just a little better.  I did not care for the pizza as much but other things i have tried there were great.

I would give it 5 stars but since there is no seperate eating area for us none smokers i can only go during the days hoping there are not many smokers.  But they do a nice job of seperating the bar from the actual restaurant area.
