Well, nothing fancy or super duper here. Â Just a clean, good, fast oyster place with average service. Â But the Oysters are awesome!!! Get the Rappahannocks--just 2 bucks a piece and super fresh and tasty. Â The crab cake was above average though the chowder wasn't tasty at all and needed alot more seasoning. Â If you're at Union market and love seafood just stop here and get a dozen oysters and one side and you'll be set.
Review Source:Love sitting at the bar here. Never mind our server last time - British guards outside Buckingham Palace might be more likely smile than she was - we're here for the oysters which are delish and at $2 each, cheaper than other places in DC meaning you won't feel any guilt about ordering another dozen... The crab cake was crab-tastic and big enough to share. At $8, the chowder was a good value with at least 4 or 5 oysters in it. Spot on beers and cocktails. Yum!
Review Source:Delicious drinks (the beer cocktail and the aqavit cocktail are delicious), and a nice selection of oysters (from very creamy to more bitter). The Clams and Lamb is a must for the starving consumer. short wait and very talented bar staff. too bad this place (and the whole Capitol Market) will be discovered soon.
