The Red Lion Pub

To call this place a "dive" is an understatement. Not to mention, it offered some of the rudest, most apathetic service I've ever experienced.

I stopped there because it has a dog friendly porch, and I had my dog with me. I was summarily ignored by two members of the wait staff who walked past my table multiple times without greeting me or otherwise acknowledging my presence. I eventually just got up and left.

I should probably feel thankful, because I can't really afford a trip to the emergency room to treat the case of food poisoning I would inevitably contract from this god-awful hole anyway. Rest assured, I won't be back anytime soon.

3.5 stars for the Red Lion Pub.

The food is your standard pub grub and the beer selection is decent.  Prices are also consistent with other beach bars in the area.  This seems like it's a place for locals to hang out and won't appeal much to tourists or those looking for a gastropub or anything other than a cold brew and cheap eats.  They also have daily specials like an all-you-can-eat prime rib dinner for around $14.  Our friends told us their pizza is hit or miss, but when it's made right it's really good.

Nothing wrong with this place, but I don't see us coming back unless our friends who live in the area invite us over again.
