I just had lunch here and it was great ...until the dogs came in. I didn't see any during my lunch, and then all of a sudden two separate groups of people arrived with 5 large, smelly dogs between them. The smell was nauseating. I left; I had been considering coming back for dinner because the food and service were excellent, but I would never dream of going back now.

I'd give this place 5 stars, frankly, if it weren't for the dogs, because the food and service were excellent. On top of that, it's too expensive a place to have one's meal ruined by dog breath and not feel somewhat cheated.

Can't beat the setting... and very, very good food with excellent service. Highly recommended.

The wine list is excellent, and has the best restaurant pricing anywhere (about 2X retail instead of the usual 2.5-3X). Ask for Tony.
