I stayed at this hotel yesterday. Depending on the reservation, your room might be small or large enough. However, the owner does everything that you need to make yourself comfortable. Also, the breakfast which starts at 8 am is MUCH better than any other major hotels' breakfast. The owner himself cooks breakfast and for the restaurant. His food is just great! Waking up in this little town will really refresh your mind and spirit. I really had a memorable and fun stay.
Review Source:This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. The service is terrible, the rooms are very small (think camper size), there is absolutely no sound proofing (you can hear everything from crying babies to barking dogs to the guy snoring in the next room), and the breakfast does not start until 8:00 am and there is not coffee until then.
Skip this place and go to Telluride or Dolores.
Don't let the "rustic" entrance scare you away from this wonderful mountain value! Â The rooms are comfortable, if not luxurious, and the restaurant, called the Argentine Grill, is one of the very best I've ever experienced (open Wed-Sun). Â Then there is the extra nice surprise of having Eamonn, the chef, make you a great breakfast, included in the cost of the room!
