    We ordered:
    pork fried almonds---excellent
    Tomato soup---excellent
The works pizza---excellent (my mom even liked it and she doesn't normally like pizza)
    Buffalo chicken sub---excellent
Build your own burger---excellent and cooked to order perfectly.
Brookie----sinfully delicious. (Brownie with a layer of caramel and layer of chocolate chip cookie)

Service was extremely attentive and polite (server and cooks).
Appears more like a fast food restaurant but food was way better. There was some smoke that came in from the attached bar which was the only negative.

We will definitely return, recommend, and remember.

It is a shame that two so-called "chefs" are affiliated with an establishment such as Roasted Tomato. First, I would like to point out that the place is NOT child friendly as the previous post suggests. It is attached to a bar. Drunken men smoking cigarettes over your food while it sits on an open counter without heating lamps. We started off with the pork fried almonds and fried deviled eggs. The almonds were laying in a puddle of bacon grease and tasted bitter and burnt. The entire dish was an epic failure and quite frankly a knock off of a more preatigious chicago restaurant. The execution was so poor it is unbearable. The eggs were okay if you like eating mustard, pickle juice and raw bacon. Sadly, this was the only semi-decent item we ordered. For entrees I ordered the Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, which was ungodly acidic and tasted like a cheap spaghetti sauce with cream. Hands down the worst soup I have ever ordered. The wedge salad was dirty, old, and had brown spots. I watched the three young boys (who I will discuss in a moment) make my salad with KRAFT dressing from the cooler. Classy. I dont know how you mess up a salad, considering absolutely no culinary talent is involved whatsoever. But RT truly proved me wrong. My fiance ordered a burger, which came out xtra well done and tasteless. The menu says that the burgers would be medium, but when you have a 16 year old running the kitchen, what do you expect? Speaking of these boys... They openly cussed out a server for repeatedly begging for a patty melt that was taking far too long to get to the guest. According to the cook "these retards need to realize this isnt a f**king mcdonalds". Very professional. For soup and a burger, we waited way too long. This restaurant has zero options. Its burger or pizza. To call thrmself a gastropub is an insult to those who actually make great bar food. They say that RT puts a twist on traditional bar food when the only "twist" is that you have to pay for a meal that was inedible.

I do not plan to ever return.  Such a shame coming from a chef... Just because you can use a deep frier doesnt qualify you as a chef, by the way.
