Rocco's Pub

This establishment was a huge disappointment ... as a family group of 4 we stopped here for some much needed food after a day of hiking.  HUGE mistake, the food is inedible and the focus by management is quite obviously on the alcohol sales, not the quality of food.  Several members of our party became sick after eating there.  I contacted the management of Rocco's to inform them...the manager decided to argue with me and deny that their establishment's food could have caused us to become sick.   A reputable restaurant would have expressed concern and assured their customer that they would immediately research this...that is the proper, responsible response to such information. He has assured me that he would credit my debit card for the purchase, but for me to be patient, it could take 10 days. yes 10 days.  The full charge with tip hit my account immediately, but the credit will take almost 2 weeks.  This place is a joke and they run it as such.  I highly recommend going elsewhere for all of the above reasons...there are way too many great restaurants out there, with quality food, to waste your money and risk your health at Rocco's.

Very clean establishment, good service, nice clientele; several large screen TV's to view.  Will be back again for sure.

Let me preface this by saying that Rocco's was once one of my favorite places to eat in Jasper. However, like most restaurants in Jasper, over time the quality has taken a dive. We started out with the fried pickles that were pretty good.  However, that was the only good part about this meal.  My burger was raw (cold), not medium like I ordered it. After sending it back, they burnt it to an absolute crisp.  My wife's onion rings were so burnt that they were black and smelled.  My daughters potato soup had a strange soapy flavor to it that I can't explain. The chicken tenders were edible, but nothing special. At over $50 for fried pickles, a burger, chicken tenders and some soup (no beer or alcohol, just sodas) this was one of the worst meals I've had in Jasper.
