Rodeo Southern Restaurant & Bar

The two of us had dinner there last week. It was great -- welcoming, quiet for a popular place, and good reasonably priced food.  I had carnitas -- excellent and authentic.  But there are a variety of types of food on offer.  Good, reasonably priced wine by the glass (full 6 oz glasses).  Although certainly gay-friendly there were plenty of mixed couples and a few singles.

Went here for Valentines Day,,Services started slow..But our waiter John made up for it.
Had the fried Okra & Fried green Tomatoes for appetizer.Batter was good and the sauces that came with it were very good..Dinner we had  Chicken Fried Steak and the peach pork chops..pork chop portion a little on the small side but  taste was excellent. Atmosphere was great..we had a great dinner..

Yelpers get off your tuckuses and mosey on over to Rodeo!  Tell Trent we said "howdy" when you get there.  We all know how hard it is to cater great food for a wedding reception, but Trent at Rodeo pulled it off to MULTIPLE rave reviews.

Our event was held at the Richardson House in Richardson Park right next door to Rodeo, and the experience couldn't have gone more smoothly.  The planning was seamless and the food really impressive.  Trent works to create a menu that will not only make you happy, but will make your mouth water!!  Everything was soooo good.  

Not to mention that the restaurant itself is designed beautifully and looks like it belongs in NYC.
