Rumba Island Bar & Grill

We stopped here on the way back from Clearwater beach on a whim. Absolutely loved it... Best meal we had the entire trip! We brought 2 kids who loved it and had the seafood leafitt, herb crusted mahi and lots more. Very impressed with Brian our waiter who did a great job explaining menu and recommending items. If you like seafood and reasonable prices you will love this place.

Don't order an appetizer because they will bring out little sweet corn bread muffins that are DELISH and will refill them if you run out!

The food here is definitely worth stopping for!  The kitchen was super slow so we waited forever for our food, but it was worth the wait.  They have a super large outdoor area for seating with live music.  The music is also played throughout the inside of the restaurant.  

If you are heading to Clearwater Beach, stop here for lunch or dinner.  You won't be disappointed.

Just great, they were out of the Ribs for the Wings and Ribs that I wanted.
So I went with the Rasta Pasta with Jerk Chicken. First off it was extremely dark where we were sitting, I wanted to use the light on my phone so I could eat. So I couldn't really tell if the chicken was cooked all the way through but I could tell it was definitely cooked by how dry it was. Not crying just saying. Overall it was a huge dish and huge enough that even I couldn't finish it. The Pasta was really good but different, and really that's what I look for. Otherwise I wouldn't go anywhere but just one Restaurant for the rest of my life and order the same boring thing. So much respect goes the Dish, I only wish I could of gotten the Seafood version, but I've developed an allergy to shell fish recently. Just great...
So I also was offered two sides with the dish. I said to the lovely waitress "two sides with all of that food?" Yes, so I ordered the veggies and cabbage. Holy smokes that's some great Cabbage! Highly recommend, trust me.
And of course my Lovely wife who loves this place got the Coconut Prawns. The plate looked great and I wish I could of had one.
Now the Salads are also very good too, not to much and obnoxious and not too little. Very fresh tasting.
Overall I give 3 Stars because I need to try more. You know what, I'll give 4 Stars because they have a good variety of options here and I like that, plus they have a nice outside Patio and Bar that looks chill.
We definitely will back soon when my In-Laws visit.
