This place just opened and the decor still needs some work. The food on the other hand is... AMAZING! Everything is authentic and the portion sizes are filling. I cant wait to return for more great food!

I think it says alot when walking up the street to this establishment a car slows down with a single male occupant and proceeds to yell out to my friend Briana that he'd like to stick his c**k inbetween her a**. Lovely.

We came for the 1st Annual Day of the Dead Art Exhibit and After Party
and while I had a good time because I knew several of the attendees that night. I don't know if I would normally come here if there wasn't such an event taking place. While the bartenders were very friendly and quick to ask for your order they seemed to run out of several ingredients in the short time that I was present. They didnt have a fully stocked bar and it wasnt until the end of the night that they were restocked. Also one bartender seemed to serve drinks on the heavy side while the other was serving them weak. There seemed to be a lack of consistency.

The prices were as expected around 6-8 for either mixed drinks or beer. The beer selection was also lacking as I'm not a huge Corona fan, and although there was a sign posted on the door stating that there was a private function going on there seemed to be two attendees that didn't seem to quite fit in who kept insisting that my friend Briana dance with them. This of course after he mumbled something to us and then tried to sit himself down inbetween us though there was plenty of space on the opposite end of the couch. He also commenced to dance on the couch kicking his feet up in the air and moving his hands about - I dont know if this was meant to impress my friend but it had me cracking up. One of the employees had to tell him to move away from us and not to disturb us again.

I never ventured out to the patio but it seems that this is where Gino E. was at taking photos (Photobooth)and where there was live face painting among other activities taking place.
