Saigon Bistro

Ambiance= nice. TV was overwhelming but they turned it down for us.
Food= kind of hit and miss-
Bun Thit is one of my favorites and was so-so, Not the best pork ever and the cha gio (egg rolls) were fairly mediocre.
The Bahn Mi= good roll. ok filling. 3 stars.

However, the chicken garlic soup? SLAMMIN- amazing.
Also- the best crab rangoon I've ever eaten. ( I order this very often, bc it's weird americanized crap & usually terrible, but the Mom in law loves it)

Service= ok, but we were the ONLY people in the place and had to flag them down from their staff conversation at the bar.

Would not go out of my way to repeat this.

This review is based on a takeout order. I had ordered their chicken wings appetizer for $12. Yes, pretty pricey for ten wings, but I had ordered them before when I dined in and enjoyed them. So, what happened when I got home and opened the takeout box? Disappointment could not even begin to describe how I felt. There were only two barely edible wings and the rest were tiny, mutated chicken wings. I told my fiancé I wanted to take the box, return it to the restaurant and ask for my money back. He told me it wasn't worth it, and just to never go back again, which is exactly what I'm going to do. As for the chicken wings? Into the garbage can they go!

This place is wonderful.

Excellent pho.  Smoothies are fantastic.
The few other dishes I've had here have been top notch.  In my opinion, better than the five or six places I've been to on Argyle.

The service was prompt and excellent.

The big screen TVs for football viewing made our experience even that much better.
