Read some reviews before trying out Sea Dog, have to say that I had a great experience here! Had the Blueberry beer which I heard they were famous for and it was great, also had the clam chowder and lobster roll which were all amazing. Highly recommend this place.

THE BIGGEST LOSERS!

Took family on 2 occasions the past 10 days - simply terrible.

Walking into this huge place there is no greeting, spent 10 mins walking around bumping into several very drunk people before a black shirt asked if we needed help. My children and husband were not impressed and no we are not drunken drinkers.

Seated at very dirty booth table both times - food is nondescript; servers could care less and even worse when asked for a Manager, told they in a meeting. No one ever checked on us after food came, some cold when should have been hot.

Will never go back; bring back the excellent Mexican restaurant that was there.

After navigating the labyrinth of contruction that is US19, we managed to get into the parking lot. This place is gigantic. We were there for an early lunch so the place was very quiet when we walked in. There beers are great and they also offer flights of four or eight tastings so you can try as many of the varieties as your liver will allow. We enjoyed the French Onion Soup as a starter and then I dove head first into the Chicken sandwich glazed in their apricot beer reduction. It was a very good sandwich. The dinner entrees all sounded great and were moderately priced. I look forward to the next time I'm in Clearwater to give this place another taste!

I am a HUGE fan of Sea Dog beer, and was very excited when I saw a restaurant was opening in Clearwater. I had never traveled over there before so of course finding the place was u-turn after u-turn. I was kind of hoping for a water front location, not a shopping mall parking lot.

When you walk in you have your cashier/hostess area to your left, where you can also purchase Sea Dog souvenirs. There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. The bar area was huge, perfect for Football/Hockey/Baseball games. There ambiance in the whole restaurant was nice. Its going to be loud because it is so open, and there are plenty of patrons there. The art on the walls is pretty neat, makes you want to take one home for decoration. The lighting in the place is pretty dim, but if you are seated in a booth you have adequate lighting for your party.

Of course I ordered the blueberry, and apricot beer. DELICIOUS off of tap. I was let down with the food though. There were 4 of us in our party, and each of us were kind eh about the food. I had the scallops, which were watery for some reason. So the water leaked onto the mashed potatoes and mad the whole dish bleh. The cuban sandwich didn't have enough meat on it to satisfy the palette. There was fish tacos, which had TOOOOO much sauce which made it very messy, and it shouldn't have been. The only person who had no complaints was the other person who ordered a salad. Which was huge. I am really disappointed in this visit.

Being that the restaurant is new, and so is the chef I will give this another shot eventually. As for right now I will enjoy their beer elsewhere on tap.

I'm not in Clearwater very often so I jumped at the chance to go to Sea Dog Brewing Company this past weekend when I was in CLW to go furniture shopping. I have been a fan of their blueberry beer for a long time, so I was excited to try the other beers and the food. I was not disappointed!

I liked the atmosphere in here. This place is really large with a bar area, restaurant area, and private room. I asked for a beer flight with Raspberry, Apricot, Blonde, and Light. I especially enjoyed the Raspberry but all were good. I have been obsessed with French Onion Soup lately and this met my high expectations. For my main course, I had the Steak Tip Artichoke Salad. A Greek salad. With steak. Two of my loves combined.

I would like to come back for Happy Hour sometime as they appear to have pretty good specials and I bet their dinner entrees are pretty legit! 4 stars!

They need to work on their customer skills!! The food was great, the beer sampler was enjoyable. the experience sucked beyond anything I have experienced in a place that serves such amazing food. However, I can always find a place with good food and great service to match. Get some grown ups in there and get your front of house in order. Make the city open a new parking lot.

What should I say...maybe mediocre?

I was sooooo excited that Sea Dog was going to open here. I bought the Mug Club (I'm in the first 30 mugs purchased!) prior to their opening. Let me also mention...I LOVE BEER!!!!!

We were invited and came to a Family Night prior to the official opening. We understood that they were working out the kinks. The beer was warm, and the food was good but would have been pricey if we had to pay.

The next time we came after the official opening -- the prices were high for what you were served, the beer was still warm, and the servers were clueless to how the Mug Club worked.

We came back...the beer was still warm, the bartenders were clueless about the Mug Club, and the food was good (it was lunch time).

We have been back a few times in between, and the beer was warm, appetizers good...and our best night was when we saw Greg West play on the patio

Now for tonight...my son ordered before us because he had to go to MMA and needed to eat earlier so he wouldn't puke on anyone (I know, gross). He ordered soup and a pretzel app, the server never mentioned the specials to him (which one of them was a fave of his). When I arrived I ordered beer, which I will say has become "colder"! Yeah!

I would like to note that over the last few times that I have been here, the menu and pricing has changed...in a good direction...

We ordered the BBQ Shrimp & Grits and the Pan-Seared-IPA Chicken. The BBQ Shrimp was great, but the IPA chicken was breaded and looked fried, and was completely tasteless -- chicken, sauce, and everything. It was sent back after 3-4 bites and was replaced with the Apricot Chicken Sandwich which was compared to a basic Burger King Chicken Sandwich :(

On a positive note I do like the hoppiness of the MonkeyFist IPA.

I just don't know...yes, I will be back because my son goes to MMA in this shopping center, but will I come for the food...no. Appetizers, yes, cause you can't really screw those up. If the beer remains cold, then there's at least that.

I really want this place to succeed, and I have taken notice to the many changes that have happened since Day 1, but they are missing the target. The food had potential from the beginning, but now it tastes like they have cooks, not chefs. The beer was great on paper, but it was warm and has improved to be cool...although there is still the thing that they aren't actually "really" brewing here...only small batch random stuff. Maybe I expected too much, or maybe I expected what everyone else did.

Ugh!

We went to Sea Dog with a group of friends after Ironman 3 back in May. It's very busy right around the meal times as we walked in at 7, then suddenly, the place was dead by 9 on a Saturday night. It was very strange.

I loved the decor - it's very industrial inside.

We had the calamari and it was fairly crispy, but the flavor was bland, especially since there were so many vegetables intermixed in it. I also got a side salad, and it was ok but nothing special for $3.99.

My husband ordered the lobster pizza. It was very good - he brought some of it home, and we couldn't wait to snack on it before bed.

I got a Blonde Ale Cheese and Bacon burger. Somehow they gave me onion rings instead of the fries, and I was charged extra for them. Unfortunately, I enjoyed them nowhere near as much as I enjoyed the burger. Granted the bottom of the burger was soggy, but it was honestly very tasty. After tasting the Blonde Ale Cheese, I decided I'd try to dip my onion rings in it, so I asked for some. It took the server 17 minutes to bring a small cup back. By that time, my greasy onion rings were too soggy to eat.

Our biggest issue the whole night was that the waitress kept disappearing. Our table easily put $300 into their pockets, but she would take 10-17 minutes in between being asked for something and coming back to us with it. And I swear to you, the place was more than half empty.

We might go back again if prodded, but from Madeira Beach, we wouldn't make the trip on our own. My husband liked it more than I did, so hence the 3 star rating - it was a compromise.

The new bike night on Tuesdays is great. Read about it in my blog article http://blog.fwcmc.com/20…

I had been to the two original locations in Maine last summer and their food was really good (even for a vegetarian). I was psyched when this place opened up down in Florida. I don't live here, but my parents do. The location is awesome. The outdoor patio is huge. Lots of tv's. The menu was different than the one in Maine and that is not necessarily a bad thing, but they left off a lot of the salads and the veggie options I was hoping for. They did have veggie chili and pretzels, and they both were good. My parents had crab cakes and lobster rolls. They enjoyed both.

The service was still a work in progress. Our server was nice, but was more interested in chatting. I asked about 3 different times to get a game on a TV, none worked. I'll still go back because the ambiance was nice, sports will be good, they did trivia and the dude playing guitar on the patio was awesome. Really great.

So, as long as you are looking to relax (read not in a hurry) on a nice patio with good food, give it a try. We hope that they get the dog license soon since it really is a great patio.

This place is huge ! I wish it the best of luck! There is a nice dining room and a very large bar indoors and the patio is colossal. Complete with a variety of games. For drinks we had the Monkey, the Import and the Light Ale. They were good brews, not fantastic, but pretty good. The service personnel were very attentive, and had a good sense of humor. As for our entrees, the flat iron steak was very tasty, the Burger was good, and the burger was cooked as expected... However, the Cod wasn't too good. It was over salted. As for an appetizer we had the buffalo chicken dip. One really can't mess that up, but it was good. The shredded chicken made the app.

All in all, people need to give this place a try. It's a good place to hang out on the patio and I wish it the best of luck. I'll be back!

I made the grave mistake of coming back to Seadog's for a 2nd time. Why not, right? They deserve a second chance, no? In short, No. This was the worst service I've ever gotten at a restaurant ever, sans this one franchise in Atlanta one time. I'm not sure what their deal is, really. But, they somehow manage to appear overstaffed while still giving piss-poor service. And the food...once again, mediocre at best, just over-priced and utterly forgettable. I'm pretty sure Seadog's will not be around here for too too long.

The best cheeseburger I have had in many a moon. It has beer cheese and bacon on it. The beers and drinks are very good as well. The atmosphere is nice and a fun place to go.

We stopped here for a quck lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We had been meaning to try this place for a while. Nothing seems to last too long in thsi spot, so we thought we better hurry! ;)

Seriously, the location is not ideal. The construction on US 19 has really messed up traffic for all the businesses along this corridor.

The restaurant is quite nice. We elected to sit outside. They have a huge porch that is nicely furnisheed. Unfortunately the only veiew is US 19, but the porch was still pleasant.

We tried a "flight" of 5 beer samples. We are not big beer drinkers, but they were interesting.

Our food was good and the service was attentive. All in all, we will try it again and my rating may go up as I try more things.

We paid $55 for poor food and poor service.

Tonight, although I brought home dinner from another place, the Husbeast and I decided we wanted to try a new place, so.. Bring on Seadog Brewpub.

The first thing I can tell you is that parking is a nightmare! We ended up parking about 3/4 the way out to Red Lobster. According to our greeter, the employees are told to park out there anyway, since close up parking is hard to get.

There was live music out on the patio, but we were inside in the dining room, and that was ok with me. We started our night with a Raspberry Pale ale and the Sea Dog Bluepaw wild blueberry pale ale, which had blueberries in it and was absolutely delicious. Our appetizer was pretzel bread sticks with beercheese sauce, this was absolutely divine!

Our main courses were a little less thrilling. I ordered the Fish and chips, and while they came out hot, and the fish was nice and plump, the batter on the fish was soggy and not at all crunchy, and rather bland. The coleslaw was abundant and the fries were plentiful. The husbeast got the pulled pork sandwich with fries. He said he liked the flavour of it, but it just didn't look appetizing to me. Something about cheese on pulled pork...

The server, Cicily, was warm and friendly and quite efficient. I thought she was going to break out in the Time Warp any moment because she reminded me so much of Columbia from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. She was a delight.

Would we go back? Probably not. It wasn't the best I've ever had and though the atmosphere was nice and modern, it was very loud on the inside. The metal and wood furniture doesn't allow for any sound dampening at all. And I really detest so many tv screens and sports programs in my dining.

No one was more excited for SeaDog to open up!
Because I'm always looking for craft beer to fill my cup!

The remodel on the place looks amazin'!
And the shaded patio is perfect when the weathers blazin'!

The atmosphere is chic, modern, & hip
And so far I've loved all the food passing thru my lips

The clam chowder, wings, & salads have been delish
And my hubby loved his chips & fish

But you are a brewpub famous for your beer
And that's where my review heads in a downward steer

Because in both of my visits the beer has been less than stellar
Although I've heard many have been best sellers!

I'm just not sold on the too sweet beers that are fruity
And I like a chilled glass even if I sound snooty

Plus any bartender they says they don't like the beer
Really should find some place to work other than here

I do like the vibe & I'm sure I'll be back
To hopefully find the right taste for my palates knack

Having watched while the did the remodeling several months back, I was excited to finally be able to go. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a microbrewery they have lots of great selections of beers and the food is absolutely delicious. Having lived up north for many years it's difficult to find a place that actually has good New England clam chowder. Our server was friendly enough and I decided to go with the pressed Cuban which was actually pretty good. All in all it's a fun place to go although a little bit loud in the main room. Since I just lived down the street a little bit I will definitely be going back.

We pulled in on a whim. I'm not a beer drinker but I love bar food. This place looked new and interesting. I had just gone to Tampa Bay Brewing Company the other day, so I could compare the food.

Sorry, I can't compare the beers. I'm not into that.

The pretzel sticks are so so, but the cheese dip that comes with them is awesome. I ordered calamari but asked they omit the tentacles. I'm just not into them. They gladly accommodated me. They get brownie points for good customer service.

We opted for some nachos and a pressed Cuban. I knew it wouldn't be an authentic Cuban, but I wanted to try it nonetheless.

The sandwich was pretty good. If they added some salami, they could get away will calling it a Cuban. As it stands now, its a decent ham, pork and Swiss cheese sandwich. But it was advertised that way so I knew it going in. B+ for the sandwich. The onion rings that came with it were AWESOME!

The nachos were a different story. They looked beautiful. A+ for presentation. Take a look at the pics. But when we tried them the pulled pork was cold. Delicious, but cold. We told our sever and he immediately took them back and brought us another one. But the second order was also cold. Third time was the charm though. This time the pork was warm. The nachos are definitely a order worthy item. If they can figure out how to put hot (temperature) pork on them.

We finished off the meal with an apple crisp dessert topped with vanilla ice cream. It was very good.

So I am giving it 4 stars. 3 stars for the food, but an extra star for the outstanding service. Our waiter was very prompt and always checked up on us often. He comped us the nachos, which i thought was very thoughtful. I will come back to try the pizza and the burgers. They looked interesting. The place is huge and the atmosphere was a bit noisy with some DJ doing a trivia game and the music was a bit loud. But it's a brew pub, so it's supposed to be noisy.

I have been excited to try Seadog Brewpub since it opened because I am a huge Seadog fan. We arrived about 8pm on a Wed and while they were busy, there were not packed like friends have told me they normally are. This place is huge! You would have to have a lot of people inside for them to have a wait.

We decided just to sit at the bar. We started with a pint each ($4.50 each) and then decided to order some flights (I don't remember how much they were). We were waited on by three different employees that were walking by behind the bar and they were great. They were also free with samples and recommendations.

We decided to order some food and tried the pulled pork nachos. They were good, but not great. I did enjoy the bbq sauce on them and would like to try it on a burger. My Husband then ordered the Buffalo Chicken dip which he did not care for. He said it was too strongly flavored.

We had another pint each and then headed out for the night. While we weren't impressed with the food, we enjoyed the bar. We would definitely come back again.

Hmmm well where do I begin!! Just like pssghettis service is slow ands food takes a long time. We ordered calamari and its truly a one person appetizer. For the price they should at least give as much as carrabbas gives you since the quality doesn't compare to carrabbas! I ordered the wedge salad which was good but i hate it when they dont chop everything up instead they put on the side of the salad in piles and you are forced to pretty much make a chopped salad first before eating it. I wish it was all chopped and piled on the salad ready to eat! The blue cheese was good! I also ordered the shrimp add on which appeared to be 6 tiger shrimp but since they were raw in the center I did not eat them!! (The waiter took those and my salad off the bill). The hubby ordered broiled cod which he thought was good, cooked perfectly but a little pricey! I ended up ordering a lobster roll because I was still hungry and that was the best part of the meal! I would go back just for the lobster roll but doubt I can talk the hubby into going back! Didn't have any beer so no comment! That is all, hope this helps!

Was expecting a pub style restaurant and when I walked in I felt like it had a lot of open, wasted space. The bar seemed nice but we were with a large group so they squeezed us in at 2 small tables. I looked at the outside patio but the seating there wasn't any better. The waitress was very nice and the food was typical bar food but it was good. I think if I go back I would rather sit at the bar and experience more of the brews.

I'm not terribly happy with this joint. It's really nice inside and the decor is awesome. But the beer was not nearly as delicious as I thought it would be. I got a side of fries with my beers, and they charged me $3.50 for a coffee cup plate (literally) of some soggy fries. Bull-honky. And the beer wasn't even that great. Really upset about this.

We went in a group of 8 for a family lunch last Saturday. I've been really excited to try this restaurant.

1. Service: The hostesses were overly friendly, which was nice. It was slow during lunch time, and we were led to two rickety tables that were unbalanced when pushed together. It would have been nice of them to add on an extra table, especially since it was slow, so we could stretch out but no one seemed to notice our discomfort. Our server was friendly, but seemed inexperienced. She was whispering a lot, and had a hard time getting everyone's attention. Our orders came out correct though, and she kept the drinks refilled, so no big deal.

2. Decor: Really cute decor. They've done an excellent job with the interior. I love the wood table tops and metal accents. The bar area is gorgeous as well. Lots of tvs throughout but they don't take away from the ambiance.

3. Food and drink: The waitress came to the table with a list of things they were out of, which isn't a great start to a Saturday. We ordered conch fritters for an appetizer and while they were huge, they were definitely undercooked and very floury. The dill sour cream dip wasn't great and didn't compliment the conch at all. My husband had conch chowder as a starter, and really enjoyed it. For my entree I had the pale ale bacon cheeseburger. It was good; the cheese sauce was nice and thick which a heavy ale flavoring, but the outside was overcharred while the bacon was undercooked and soggy. Fries were your standard frozen fare--nothing special. For $11, this burger could have been better. My husband had the lobster roll which was understandably small, but tasty. Everyone else in our party seemed to enjoy their meals as well.

4. Prices: Except to spend a pretty penny here. The food ranges from $9 for a chicken sandwich upwards of $16 for a steak dinner. Soups were really overpriced at $6-7 a cup and $8-9 a bowl. Appetizers were decently priced, so I could see skipping dinner and just getting a few small bites to share with friends over some pints.

All in all, while I had a nice lunch with family, the experience was definitely average. For the prices and the hype, I definitely was expecting to be "wowed." I hope this is just opening month jitters, and the restaurant continues to improve and get better. I would love to see something succeed in this location!

Decided to try to give this place a try because it's a newly opened restaurant. Love the design of this place inside and out but the staff was not desirable.

I thought the food was overly salty so I wasn't a fan. One major issue here for me was the bartenders. We decided to sit at the bar for a few drinks but everyone was using the excuse they were cleaning the bar instead of assisting us. There was well over 4 hours before closing time. When we decided to try the beer sampler of 8 and a martini all we got was unhappy faces and we clearly overheard the bartender complaining about how they hate pouring beers for the samplers.

I suggest going somewhere costumers can't hear when complaining. I also got my food without any plates or napkins until I asked a bartender. I would understand if the bar was busy but there was over 4 bartenders for a total of less than 10 bar costumers. We've got checked on once for our hour and half stay.

Not a fan :(

For the activity in this specific location I was thrilled to see them busy. Living in the Tampa Bay area for going on 10 Years I have seen this building a million different restaurant s and really want someone to succeed. I went with my elderly grandmother whom needed wheelchair access.

When we arrived about 5;30 on a Friday night the place was already hoping, I jumped out of the car before getting her to make sure that they would have seating available for us and that would have enough room for her to not be in the way. The hostess's were absolutely wonderful, I explained that i would need a table and she guided me thru the dining room to show me options which wasn't need but was what i felt, going the extra mile. Once we were seated the waiter was just amazing. While my grandmother is in a wheelchair she is a spitfire and isn't handicapped other than he low mousey voice. He didn't make it obvious that he couldn't hear or understand her by giving me eye contact and reassurance to myself. Most times when I go out to dinner the waitstaff make her feel incompetent by shouting or repeating themselves and Troy was 5 star all the way. Out food came fast, almost to fast since we ordered an appetizer, soup and entrees. We ordered too much, she had the shrimp and grits that were exceptional and I had the lobster bisque and lobster mac' and cheese both ended up in a doggies bag that I munched on for a few days following.

The parking is a little inadequate and the prices are fair. All in all, i will return because Troy made our experience memorable and enjoyable.

Decent, but overpriced.

We tried to go on a few occasions right after opening and found out they had 60-90 minute waits, no thanks. We finally stopped in recently and only had about a 20 minute wait. I didn't realize there were two different parts to the restaurant and we were seated in the back, quieter room, which really lacks atmosphere. If you are going to a brew pub I think you expect some noise and activity, this back room is just odd. From now on I will request not to be seated back there.

We started out with a few appetizers, the pretzel sticks and buffalo chicken dip. Both decent, nothing outstanding. Next we started looking over the rest of the menu, $8 for a cup of beer cheese soup, is outrageous, unless maybe it's made with liquid gold. We ended up just ordering a few more appetizers and clam chowder and calling it a night.

They didn't have any cider on draft, but the husband and friends enjoyed their draft beers.

This place is... AWESOME!

Every time I drove past the building, I was excited to see that a new brewpub was opening up close to my home. I finally found the time to go check it out and boy was I pleased.

When you first walk in, you feel like you're in a microbrewery, which I love. The staff is friendly and promptly sits you down wherever you like. You have three choices to choose from, the bar area, the dining area and the quiet room. We chose the dining room and were very pleased. The setting is nice, but be forewarned, it tends to be loud in there. One of the positives is that there is no smoking. (I'm not a fan of the smoke filled pubs and bars).

The menu is like your traditional pub menu, burgers, pizza and seafood. We went with the pulled pork bbq flatbread and one of the burgers. Both were delicious, the sea dog pale ale bqq sauce was spectacular. We later ordered the soft pretzels and cheese dip appetizer, the soft pretzel were rather hard than soft, you could tell that it was just pulled out of the freezer.

By far the best part were the draft beer. They've got so many different house flavors to choose from that you'll walk out broke. Pints go for $4.50 and $3 during happy hour. But the variety is great, so they pretty much cater to every drinker. I recommend to try the sampler, 4 smaller beers for $5 or 8 for $10.

-------------
Edit 7/15/2013:

After a few times of visiting here, we've noticed that service is declining. There are times where we have waited 10-15 minutes before the waiter or waitress would come back to refill us. Looks like the glory of this place might be dying out for me.

So my family decided we would all go check out Sea Dogs last night. I was really excited for a new place to open up and had high hopes. I was a bit let down by the experience but it wasn't a bad experience.

Our waitress was awesome. For being a relatively new restaurant she the new menu and could answer questions about the food. She was extremely attentive and the service was fast.

The food was just ok. Honestly I would not return to eat. The food was just a bit to expensive for the quality. Also the place is really loud. It is one of the loudest eateries I have been in. t was bordering on difficult for my family to have a conversation and the one conversation we did have was about how loud it was.

Now as far as a cool place to drink. I think I could definitely return for the beer selection. Because this place is part of the Shipyard Brewing Company I have high expectations for the beer.

I will be sure to update this post after going back to enjoy the beer selection.

I had the Sea Dog pale ale cheese and bacon burger which was cooked perfectly(medium rare).
My wife had the pot roast sandwich. I took a few bites and it melted in my mouth. The meat was very tender.
We will return for sure!

Beer is excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, we had some appetizers conch fritters and fish spread both were very good. We also had the lobster bisque, which was creamy and had great flavor, however I am still looking for my big chunk of lobster they said are in the bisque. The Monkey Fist IPA and the Hazelnut Porter are excellent beer choices. We will be back...hoping to find some lobster chunks next time.

So I think this place is worth it just for the whole-bellied fried clams they serve here. If you are a New Englander or a lover of New England seafood, the fried clams and the lobster roll are excellent (although it's a bit too small). The clam chowder was not that great, although most people would prolly think it's fine. The beers are truly awesome. Service was excellent, although we went at an off-peak time (4pm). And it does get crowded there. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Note: It's loud, so if that bothers you, you have been warned.

I would go back just for the lobster roll (although next time I may ave to order 2 to actually get full), the fried clams and the blueberry ale.

I absolutely was excited to go here, as I am a big fan of craft beer. I drive past it every day watching the construction, and although the patio isn't done yet, it is open for business. I was not disappointed by the the beer selection, either. I had the Prelude Ale, which is an English style ale (similar to Old Speckled Hen, if that helps). My friends with me enjoyed the porter, IPA, and blueberry ale.

This is a very nice, very spacious brew pub, with adequate bar seating, plenty of tables, and a soon to open outdoor patio (hence, all the still visible construction).

The food was good, but I wouldn't say great. Average for bar food. My fish tacos were very tasty, but my friends with me were a bit disappointed in the chicken wings, and the jerk chicken sandwich, respectively. I found the prices a little high too, for pub food. Burgers, sandwiches, and most items were in the $11-15 range. All pints are $4.50, which is a good price for craft beer.

I really love the atmosphere and the beer selection, and I will definitely make this a go-to stop. There are plenty of TVs and it seems like a great place to watch sports. The waitress told me that part of the patio will be reserved as "dog friendly", which is a bonus.

Went out tonight to try the new place. Arrived at 5:50 and was already a bit crowded. With new restaurants come some hiccups as the host was very confused on seating and what tables were available. Understandable though.

Took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table but the server took our drink order which we sampled a few of the beers. We both really enjoyed the the Apricot, Blueberry and Raspberry beer but I also tried a few that I didn't care for but that is personal preference.

We took advantage of happy hour and ordered the soft baked pretzels with beer cheese that we really liked. The pretzels were hot and soft and the cheese had a nice distinct tasty flavor. We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip which had nice size pieces of chicken with a buffalo cheese sauce and served with warm flatbread that was equally as good.

For dinner we shared the pulled pork sandwich was really good and had a side of fries which were good also.

Overall we enjoyed it and even though some problems with hosting and serving we were ok with it especially since everything else what great. Will give this another try and maybe try some of the pizzas that we some other people eating which looked amazing.

What a neat idea, a brew pub for my trips back to Saint Petersburg, and great execution in design, finish and ambiance. Just opened and with an unfinished porch and no signage there were sill 50 people in there enjoying lunch. My initial impressions are that people will be here for the beer. I say that because there are ample choices and the Mug Club deal looks to be one of the best around. Not that I wouldn't order the Cobb Salad again or try the Fish and Chips (they had malt vinegar!!) they were tasty meals. Pricing is moderate with most lunches around the $15-$17 range. The beer flight is a great way to sample the local brews only $5.50. More updates to follow
