This is my favorite burger place in the twin cities, hands down.

Shamrocks has the same menu as The Nook, located just to the west on Randolph, but is much larger with shorter waits, so we usually end up just coming straight here. It has a pub feel with an irish motif, free popcorn, a good-sized bar, and a plethora of TVs showing Minnesota sports. For the most part, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, but I come solely for the food. They are know for their burgers, but they have a large menu of other items that are also delicious. The cheese curds and fried pickles are oft-ordered items. The wings are underrated; I always opt for the dry-rub MN Wild wings if I go that route... they always seem to be large, hot, and juicy and never disappoint. But I usually end up getting the Paul Moliter burger with a few modifications. The fresh cut fries are award-winning and consistently hot and crispy, and there isn't a burger on the menu outside of some of the wacky specials that I haven't enjoyed.

I would recommend this place to anyone and often take friends and family here when they are in town. It's a great place to grab a delicious burger and a beer with friends or during a game. I will be a customer for a long time to come.

Shamrocks is the big sister to my favorite burger joint of all time the nook.  It has a very appealing décor with lots of stone accents on the wall and a very manly bar with pretty much anything you would like to drink...nice tap choices....guiness, finnegans, shocktop, bells, laguintas, smithwick, Michelob golden light, just to name a few....They have great cheese curds...that are salty and good....I did not try it but they have a new addition...a burger with a glazed donut for the bun....eecckkk...the guy eating it did say it was sweet....glad I passed on that....you will not be disappointed with any of the other  burgers they offer....The Juicy Lucy is very popular and what brings many people back time and time again.  They play great music and the bartenders are friendly and professional....

Just got back from lunch here...and needless to say I could go for a nap after devouring that delicious meal. This place was pretty crowded with WCHA Final Five fans, but we got cozy and sat at the bar, which is actually my preferred dining spot because you can get to know the bartenders and watch them make all the drinks. I wasn't too adventurous and just ordered a cheeseburger and sweet potato fries; they were both hitting the spot! We also ordered the Reuben Roll-ups, which were just wonton wrappers with a Reuben filling - also devine! Learned they have free shuttles to Wild games, so I will definitely be back for another delicious bite come April before the Wild game!
