Shenanigan's Pub

Visited Shenanigans at 11pm on a Friday night, the place was dead (about 10% capacity). What's worse, there was a $5 cover... Seems like they should be paying people to come in, not charging a cover. The service was good & bartender was nice. The live band was pretty good (though they didn't know the lyrics to a few songs they sang), but the amps were cranked all the way up distorting most of their music. The kicker preventing this place from a greater rating; there is nothing Irish about this place except the name. In all, this place was a disappointment.

I don't have much to say about this bar - it didn't make much of an impression on me the two times I went with friends.  The place was mostly empty both times except for a jazz band and two old guys.  Prices are reasonable, and they actually stock semi-decent wine (Beringer is a step up from Sutter Home and Barefoot).

Fun but they sound system was insane....way TOO LOUD.  My husband complained about the beer selection for a "irish pub."  It does have a good atmosphere and everyone is friendly.
