Shoney's Restaurant

I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service was here since it seems most restaurants I've come across lately are just only mediocre or worse. The food was delicious and our server was very helpful and checked on us frequently. I was impressed by our clean and shiny silverware-the last couple of places I've eaten lately has had super dirty and spotty eating utensils. A must try is the new California turkey burger-delicious! And the buffet looked clean and was well kept.

The food was terrible and overpriced.  Seriously, I cannot believe this restaurant is still in business.  They served us cold toast!  I asked the manager how they made their toast and she said, "It's made on the spot, made to order, fresh."  I told her ours was cold and asked her how that was possible, and she didn't know.  She didn't offer to make it right but just ran my credit card.  Oh well, they'll never get my business again!
