I went into Siam Orchid after several referrals from friends and business associates, and I have to say, it didn't really live up to the hype. I'm going to comment on four things- ambiance, service, and food- appetizer and main course.
Ambiance- the place seemed like a typical low-end asian food restaurant, nothing special, sort of shabby, nothing special or appealing. The table next to us was inhabited some rather loud, discourteous patrons who seemed to act loud and oafish for the sake of hearing their own voices, C.
Service- our server acted like it was her first night working in a restaurant, she was very young, maybe 16, she acted a little like she'd never even been to a restaurant. We didn't get utensils, drink refills came back un-filled, menus left on the table, D.
Appetizer- pot stickers, they were frozen out of a bag from Sam's club, F.
Main Course- Pad Thai, good consistency, nicely seasoned, B.
Overall, there is SO MUCH competition for Thai food in Cincinnati, I feel like there needs to be something special about it, and there isn't.

Yay for decent Thai food in Bellevue! Newport has plenty of American, greasy spoons and Italian restaurants, but I just really wanted some good Pad Thai this side of the river and Siam Orchard didn't disappoint. Next time I have a Thai craving, I will definitely come back here!

Yay! I'm really a fan!  Siam is fantastic for casual and delicious Thai.  I have been looking for a new "regular" place in NKY and have decided on Siam.  First off and most important - they're food is fantastic and flavorful!  I find their spicy scale just a bit hotter than other places in the area, but I think of that as a positive.

I really like the variety.  I do not think the menu is too extensive.  I think it makes sense.  You can get curry, traditional thai, sushi, chinese and more.  This is what I would expect from a restaurant like this and I love the variety because I can always change up what I want.

The only thing that I found difficult is that none of the servers spoke english very well.  I get it - its an asian cuisine place and I love that its really that authentic, but I had to literally repeat everything our server asked/said to my father who just couldn't understand a single word.  And sometimes I honestly didn't have a clue what they were saying.  However - to their credit - the service is fantastic.  Everyone was extremely nice and polite and very quick.  I can't recall having a shorter wait for our food anywhere else.

All in all - I really love the place and will definitely return many times.

Great and accessible place to get good Thai food. The pad Thai is great here and the family service is wonderful.

Awesome shrimp lemongrass soup. Everything else I've tried has also been very good. They have very fast service and friendly staff. I live 2 blocks away and when my boyfriend was stuck on the couch from knee surgery they even offered to deliver (don't ask them too often, though, that was definitely going above and beyond!!!)

I am a huge fan. Probably one of the best Thai restaurants in the Cincinnati area.

I was very excited to see this place open in Bellevue.  Other than chinese and mexican there aren't very many ethnic eateries close.  The lunch prices are reasonable and each dish is served with a hot spring roll and homemade sauce that is absolutely delicious.

I really like the chicken basil, pad thai, and the curries.  Its not the greatest Thai food around but it is good, reasonable, and close to home.  Now somebody please open an Indian restaurant down the street.

Tried Siam Orchid out for lunch- spring rolls were delicious and everyone seemed happy with their meals. I ordered a curry with tofu, which was delicious. Their very spicy is indeed, very spicy, so beware of what you order. My only disappointment was it seemed that they used a frozen veggie mix for the vegetables in my curry. I don't know if this was just for the very affordable lunch special or if this is a common practice. I understand frozen peas, but the carrot cubes... you can just tell. Otherwise, all was good and the services was great too. The restaurant itself is a cozy little place in Bellevue and a good place for lunch or a dinner date.

Very yummy and reasonably priced also rarely a wait and quick service. I recently tried their mussaman curry and it was delightful. They also have good sushi deals (2 rolls for $10.95). Definitely worth a try the next time you're craving Thai, but I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Siam is a decent little restaurant. I think they are trying to do too much with their menu - they list Japanese, Chinese, Thai and Indian on their menu...a bit schizophrenic.

I had the basic pad thai and it was good. Balanced spicy and sweet....I've had better a other places but the price was fair. They do have some more expensive dishes on the menu but I would use this place more for take out and well-priced dine in option.

I stopped by this with the family on a chilly night and was pleased. I only had the Chicken Cocoanut Soup but the rest of the family mixed it up and were all smiles.

There were no OMG-moments but it fed us, warmed us up, didn't make my wallet cry. The staff was quick and nice.

I guess my only complaint was the size of the menu and the fact that it seemed a bit of a mish-mash. I don't know anything about Thai food. I wanted a bit of education on that but looking at the menu (which I thought too big) I saw some Americanized-Chinese dishes and even sushi. Again, it just may be my lack of education but I still don't know what Thai food is.

Always very good. In the current rotation of regulars. I have eaten at all other popular Thai places, and go here instead. No comments on the Sushi piece since that is not my thing.

Newport/Bellevue are famous for chain restaurants and greasy spoon diners, so it was refreshing to see a Thai restaurant pop up on Fairfield Avenue.

This quaint small-town establishment features a variety of Thai cuisine and every dish can be customized for vegetarians. You get complimentary spring rolls as an appetizer. The soups are delicious too, especially chicken coconut.

I can vouch for several of the entrees: pad thai, pad see ew, vegetarian basil fried rice, chicken basil, and vegetarian green curry. This is a good sign that pretty much anything you order is going to be delicious.

    Price per person $10.00

My husband and I live in Bellevue and visit the Siam Orchid often.  My husband prefers sushi, while I like their other dishes such as the paad see ew.  They now have a sushi deal with two rolls for $10.95, every night of the week. Their Thai iced tea is also a nice treat. Great little place to stop in for dinner.

Went here for the first time during Yelp Eats week. I went hoping I could do a take-out order but they said the specials were dine-in only. I tried all 3 appetizers on the Yelp Eats menu: chicken satay, spring roll, and steamed dumplings. It turned out to be a pretty good cheap little feast. It was nice to sit by the window and watch the Fairfield Ave foot traffic go by. I'm sure I'll definitely be back since I live in the area. This is one of those times where I wish I could do 3.5 stars, since it was better than just 'A-OK', but not quite enough to get me to 'yay' about.

I live in Newport, and I'm all about anything that opens up within walking distance that isn't a chain restaurant or bar! Now, I'm not going to say that Siam Orchid is the BEST Thai food I've ever had. But, for quick take out, or if I'm looking for a restaurant within walking distance, this is where I go. Siam satisfies my Thai craving, and cheaper and faster than most other Thai places. The wait staff has always been extremely friendly and attentive, and I've always gotten pretty decent food here. If you live in the area and are looking for something quick and cheap, I recommend Siam!

A few miles off I-471, but worth the trip. I had a tasty lunch at $7.37 (not including tip) for a good size portion of chicken pad Thai. Plus, free spring roll with lunch  Beautiful Decor with images and art of Thailand. Afterwards go across the street and try some Schneider'a ice cream or chocolate.

Nice little neighborhood restaurant, next door to Skinny Legs. It has a lunch menu with most items around $7. Both are down the street from Party Source in a nice little area with small storefront shops.
