Sidney Willoughby Run

Having driven up from Houston TX to visit the Battleground only to find it closed we were very disappointed. We were looking for a place to have dinner and discovered Sidney online so we decided to try it.

Our waitress Megan was fantastic, she described each item on the menu with great detail. They say small servings but in my opinion they are the right size servings and how we should be eating. We had the Artisinal cheeses and the Classic Pate for an appraiser. Then at Megan's suggestion we split a Black bean soup. Since we told Megan that we were in no rush she let us sit and enjoy our wine before she brought out our main course which was the Wagyu beef for me and the Basil wrapped crispy shrimp. The beef was cooked perfectly mid rare and very tender. My wife's shrimp was outstanding. We followed with desert of the Dark Chocolate Torte.

I highly recommend Sidney's when visiting Gettysburg Pa. for an
outstanding experience. All the waitstaff are extremely knowledgeable and very well trained on the menu items.

Now if our politicians were only half as good as the waitstaff here our problems would be solved.

Excellent food & service. We sat outside on the large patio, comfortable chairs. We started with cocktails and then a massive fireworks display went off in the park, amazing!
Perfectly cooked steak and the scallops were amazing. The miso tuna was excellent!
Best restaurant in the area.

We came up twice, once in June and last weekend.   The service and staff are very professional and knowledgeable of the drink/wine list and menu.  Tim was our waiter both times and was excellent.  The food prepared by Chef Neil is innovative and nothing like I have eaten before. The European influence is definitely here and we plan to come here again soon. I HIGHLY recommend dining at this restaurant.
