My wife and I had dinner on April 14, 2013. Restaurant decor nice, quite, could carry on conversation. However , we both ordered steaks. Both arrived wayyyy overdone. To be fair our  server Marcia did offer to have them replaced. We declined since our sides would have been cold and did not want to wait another 30-45 minutes for the entire meal to be re-cooked. The manager did offer free desserts. We each had 1 drink and split a salad and the bill with tip was $178. Price equal or greater than a Morton's, Jeff Ruby's, Ruth Chris's, Eddie Merlot's with the taste/value of a Ponderosa. Setting and staff nice but way over priced.
Review Source:Dave and I came here our first night in the hotel. Â I'm glad I didn't listen to the front desk, who told me 'resort casual' was the attire- definitely dress up when coming here or you WILL feel out of place! Â
We went all out on our meal and it was fantastic. Â
The only complaint I have is that the butter for our rolls tasted as if it had been frozen- you know, that gross freezer taste.
We decided to order a bottle of wine, and were happy to see a large variety of both wines and price ranges. Â We opted for a bottle of Riesling on the lower end of the price range and both loved it (we're not super into wine). Â
We started with gouda ravioli, which was amazing. Â
My entree was the sea bass, while Dave ordered their blackened crab stuffed trout. Â Both were good, but I certainly preferred mine. Â We also ordered a side of asparagus, which came out as a generous portion. Â
For dessert, we shared the white chocolate macadamia nut cheese cake, which was HUGE. Â Dave and I had trouble finishing it. Â
Sinclair's was really the perfect way to start our vacation. Â It was just the right amount of decadence without being pretentious or overly pricey.
