Spunkmeyers Pub

This was the second time I've been here, the fist where I actually checked in or written a review. The last time was at least a couple years ago. It's a pretty cool place - nice pub sort of atmosphere. On this occasion I had the reuben pizza and a side of garlic fries. Both were very good, but nothing that I would get all fanatical about. Still, a very good local spot for a beer and some good food.

This is a great pub to go to for drinks or dinner. The food is always excellent, as is the service. I don't get why Nate said it is a whole in the wall. It's very up to date and everything is high end. They also do the best holiday decorating ive ever seen in a bar.I agree it's not for kids, but it's a pub. It has a back bar and patio that goes for the tropical feel, but it's Ohio, so...

I really enjoyed the food and service here, but just a forewarning... do not expect a pretty-looking restaurant worthy of a date with your new girl. Take your buddies or a group of good friends and enjoy a burger and some of their specialty fries. Good food, good price, casual atmosphere.

Again, leave the kids with the sitter. This is a hole-in-the-wall kind of place with great pub food.
