Another fun night for beers with friends. This place is not particuarly up scale but a fun place to get together with people and watch e game. There are numerous screens so whatever you want to see you can count on it being broadcast here. Sometimes it is crowded but I can usually go a good table and you don't feel rushed to eat and get out. You can hang out without the wait staff being annoyed. Food is decent for bar grill food. Would probably give a 3.5 for food but a 3 would be too low.

This is kind of a tough review for a couple of reasons..

I was here with some friends this past weekend to catch the Bruins game and we lucky enough to arrive just in time to grab a few seats at the bar.  The place filled up quickly..  So, it is a good place to catch a game, I will give it that, TV'S all around, they do have the volume on during the game, which I love, so many places feel it is necessary to keep music on even though you are a SPORTS bar..  So, an A+ there..  Now on to some other points which were not so great, and enough to make it so I would not be back again, to much competition in this market..

    (1) Even though it did not have anything to do with me, a customer came in to pick up his phoned in order.  He waited, and waited and finally someone helped him.  They said they would check on his order.  She came, said, "Are you'? and he said "yes"..  She said; "Will be right out"..  He sat there and waited..  waited some more..  A bartender finally asked if he had been helped, he said, "well a while ago I am waiting on take out".  She took his name, came back, said "Sorry, what did you order we have nothing under that name"..  he says 'WHAT another girl knew my name before I gave it to her and said it would be right out"..  Anyway, about 15 minutes later his food appeared..  Now, on their side they did COMP the food but I think we all see this as a bad experience..

    (2)  Took one hour for our food to get to us..  Bartender constantly kept telling us, any minute I promise, any minute..  Then it was..  Our kitchen is so slammed, sorry..  Okay,,  What that tells me?  It is game 2 of the Stanley cup finals, you are a sports bar, and you could not anticipate this coming?  Or, if you could you have an incompetent kitchen staff..  Anyway..

    (3) Food came out and was SO bad on SO many levels.  First, my order was completely wrong.  I ordered the steak tip sub with no peppers and no cheese..  An order of steak tips as an entrée came out with veggies?  Eh?  When I told the bartender he said, I am pretty sure you ordered the entrée..  I said.. "Ah, no, you even repeated to me no onions or cheese when I ordered".  He did apologize but back to the kitchen it went and I had to wait..  But not long, they dumped those tips on a half stale bun and sent it out to me..  they were overcooked, luke warm, and gross.  The onion rings were not bad, also somewhat cold but were not to shabby.

    (4) My Brother got the steak tips with mashed.  They were DISGUSTING.  Overcooked and COLD.  The mashed seemed to be your garden variety Betty crocker from Stop N Shop and even that was ice cold..

    (5) Service was at best a C.  Once it got busy they clearly got somewhat flustered and our bartender was slow, sometimes clumsy and just didn't help the experience at all.

    (6)  Finally, as soon as the game ends the place becomes a free for all night club with perhaps the worst music you would ever want to hear.  It becomes overrun by college students, well college aged folks anyway, and you are lucky if you can move from A to B without getting elbowed or a beer dumped on you (which the unfortunate old man next to us had happen)

I would suggest a multitude of other sports bars in the vicinity, this was one fails on way to many levels..

This bar is always noisy with drunk people hanging out the window that opens up the entire breadth of the bar and people hanging out front smoking, which must make a joke of the No Smoking law.  Tonight as I passed on my way to work, one of the fine patrons yelled "Show me your tits!" at me.  I complained to the manager, but lord only knows what he did after I pointed out the offending drunk.

Moody staff. Often make negative comments. Not the greatest food. Waited over a hour for a burger once during lunch with 6 other people in the bar!

Been here a few times for lunch or just drinks in the evening.

The decor is "standard soulless sports bar" - nothing remarkable to mention.

The wait times for food are ridiculous. Even with the place nearly empty you will be waiting a long time for your order, making it difficult to fit a trip into a lunch hour. When the food arrives, it is mediocre at best.

In the evening, wait staff can be slow in checking on drink orders.

Bottom line: if you're really hard up for a place to watch a game, I suppose it is OK, but whenever someone says "Let's go to Stadium" I respond "let's go somewhere else."

So maybe it was  my mistake for going to Stadium on St. Patrick's Day but still, this review was for the overall ambiance of the place.

A group of friends and I stopped by there as we wanted to get a drink to celebrate ole St. Patrick. We think it looks okay from the outside, but we were wrong. We walk in through the doors and are confronted by this long hallway which looks like it leads to an office building or an apartment building. The rug was worn, dirty, and made the place look kind of dumpy.  We turn to the left and the main doors are right there, being guarded by a friendly bouncer.  He was about the only good thing about this whole experience, jovial, joking around, and cavalier while still getting things done.

Once inside, the layout is odd. There's a restaurant (I think) to the right, and a bar to the left. We stuck to the bar and ordered a drink.

Service was. . . not that great. After politely standing and smiling for honest-to-god about 5 minutes while the bartender SAT on the back counter and stared at the TV, another bartender came up.  Even before the second one could utter "How may I help you," the first one said "Oh, I'm helping him, he's waiting for me," and the second bartender walked away.  After another solid minute of her looking around she came up and said "what?"  I assumed she meant it in the "what would you like" capacity, but when I started to order, she said "No, I mean, what did you say about me?"

FIRST OFF, I rarely ever talk shit about anyone in charge of my alcohol, it's just common sense. Secondly, do away with the attitude, I get it: you don't want to be there on St. Patty's day. I don't want to be in Quincy either, but lets just deal with the situation in front of us and move on.

I told her I said nothing, and since first round was on me, she made all of our drinks with the WORST look on her face.  I caught myself thinking "I wish what my mother always said came true: 'If you keep making that face, it will get stuck that way."

We left shortly after that.  Before leaving, one of my friends wanted to go to the bathroom, so after some exploration and no luck, we finally asked.  The bathrooms were outside of the establishment in that long creepy hallway.

    COOL.

    Never again. Thanks.

This place is an ok  sports bar. I go here occasionally. The food is ok but just a note. One night the draught machine was not working. They gave me a flat beer. I told them there was a problem. They charged me for the beer and continued to serve people who ordered that beer from the other side of the bar and top it off with another to look fresh.  Also, I went here for lunch break and had to leave before my food came. They never brought it to us. Go here. Order bottled beer and watch the game and you are fine.

This place is just a regular sports bar.  Food is good and they have Beer towers which is nice.  The only complaint I have is the waitresses trying to rush us out of our table to make room for others.  I feel like I should be allowed to sit there and talk as long as I want.  Also, the crown royal i ordered tasted watered down.

Usually not a bad place but my quick stop here on my way home from work may be my last. Ordered a rum and coke and was told to try a Bacardi oak heart, so I did. I had no idea I was going to be charged for the promotional garbage mug as well. What is this Vegas or Orlando Florida? Because I thought I was in Quincy center last time I checked. You can keep your glassware I have enough at home, I didn't stop here to go mug shopping, WTF is this Crate and Barrel?

Great place to grab a bite certainly to watch a game. Service can be uncertain at times for example last year I went here to watch the big Canucks vs. Bruins game and maybe management just scheduled one person or possibly someone just didn't show up to work well in any case there was one bartender there also acting as waitress for the biggest hockey game of the year!!! At  a sports bar with about 50 people there!!! So obviously getting a beer was hard to do. If you have Sandra,Jen or Haley as your waitress no need to fear service problems. So a little tip when you get seated by the hostess Cheryl ask to be seated in one the three lady's sections mentioned above.

20 cent wing mondays. 4 dollar burger wednesdays. cheap beer. and a lot more!

I don't know why this place gets such bad reviews. I ALWAYS get good service when we come here and we're here pretty often. The waitresses are so attentive and jokes around with us, OK well, my friends pretty much hit on them a lot and so I consider us lucky even getting good service. Except when it's a packed night during the celtics playoffs, but you can understand if they can't pay attention to each of their 20 something tables.

The food is decent for the deal days. However, we found that it can be muchh better during regular days, when they have time to really perfect your food and it's less busy. Again, I'm justifying for them.

All in all, my friends continue to come back every few weeks and it continues to be our go-to bar.

I have never had a bad time at the Stadium ever.

The Stadium is the kind of place where you can go any given night of the week and the place is busy! Which is nice when you're looking for some fun on something like a Tuesday night.

Prices are reasonable, and their buffalo chicken pizza is amazing.

The staff is always super friendly, generous, personable, and attentive which is great, especially on  Saturday night when it tends to get packed.

The Stadium is a great bar. Always has a good mix group of people and it covers about every scene your looking for.
Want to sit at the bar? No problem, the bar is pretty long compared to others of Quincy center and an array of brews on tap as well.
Want to sit at a table? No problem, and the waitstaff comes to you.
Want to mingle? The Stadium is pretty packed on weekends so meeting new people is inevitible.
Want to have dinner? Tons of tables toward the back away from the bar... make sure to try the pizza it is one of the best in the area.
Music? The Stadium have some great cover bands that play here often.
A must stop if you are bar hopping Hancock St.

I have only been to the Stadium on Monday nights for 20 cent wings, but based on this experience alone I recommend going! They have about 8 different flavors to choose from and along with these delicious chicken wings, their beer selection is superb. My two favorite beers in the whole world, Shipyard Pumpkin Ale and Ithaca Apricot Wheat...both on tap. In February. I try not to question the fact that Shipyard Pumpkin is still floating around so far after Fall and just accept it as a delicious surprise!

The service is not always the best in terms of promptness and efficiency but all in all, I recommend going at least to 20 cent Monday night wings AND Trivia at 8 p.m. My favorites are the Garlic Parm and the Thai Chili. Also, you have to be 21+ after 8 pm. for Trivia so if anyone underage is going, you have to go before 8.

The Stadium Sports Bar and Grill, although has food that will satisfy the taste buds of all visitors, is receiving two stars based upon a very important factor: customer service.

Upon seating ourselves, my friends and I waited approximately five minutes until we were first approached by a server. Our server took our order for drinks and brought them back in a timely manner, which was greatly appreciated. Upon returning with our drinks, our server continued on to take our food order then proceed back to the kitchen only to be seen never again. For the rest of the night, besides having our food delivered by one of the bus boys, our server never returned to refill our drinks or see if we needed anything. Our plates and empty glasses remained on our table 30 minutes after we finished our meal. We watched as our server stood behind the bar talking to other young adults who were sitting at the stools. Multiple attempts to get our servers attention went unanswered until my group finally went and requested the bill. After paying the restaurant for our food and drinks, our server picked up our check and left once again without thanking us for coming in to dine at their establishment.

Like I previously mentioned the food however, is the only factor saving this establishment from receiving a poor score. My friends and I order three different types of sandwiches that came out according to our expectations. The plates were appropriately hot so that we were able to begin eating immediately without burning our mouths. All of the meat and poultry that comprised our sandwiches were cooked all the way through in accordance to how we requested. The toppings for our sandwiches were served on our plates fresh and did not appear to having been sitting in the back for days. A minor detail in regards to the food however, is that the condiments on the table we were sitting at and the two besides us were empty. My friends and I had to check four different tables until we found bottles of ketchup that weren't empty. We dined at the Stadium around 7pm so there is no reason that all those bottles should have been empty.

All in all, my friends and I made the best of our dining experience at the Stadium. For three individuals to order one entree and one (alcoholic) beverage each, the total came to approximately $60.00, which was definitely affordable. However, the most important thing that readers need to keep in mind that if this is how our service was on a Tuesday night around 7pm, what would their service level be like on one of the busier nights? I would strongly suggest that if families are looking to dine at the Stadium with their entire family, they think elsewhere and look for an eatting establishment that isn't so concerned about their "bar atmosphere", compared to their "dining atmosphere".

I've gone here a few times for a few beers with friends when it was pretty packed.  Last night's experience gives the one star.

I went with my boyfriend and his work friends last night.  It wasn't packed at all.  We had about 15 people with us, so we went in the back and sat at a long bar so we could all face each other and chat.  The waitress comes up and asks why we were sitting here since it was "awkward."  Apparently that's how you approach customers these days.

We all ordered, and the waitress somehow managed to call my boyfriend 'mean' when she was talking to someone else.  My boyfriend was busy talking to someone else and not even involved in the conversation.  So this was basically the beginning of a long night.

Waitress continued to be rude to the whole party.  I guess she hasn't served much before.  We were her only table, but in the end, she was confused with everyone's bills.  I understand having 15 people is confusing, but you're a waitress for a reason.  She told my boyfriend that his tab was at the bar (even though he had never opened a tab).  So he went to the bar to pay for his two beers.  The bartender had no idea what he was talking about so he sent him back to the waitress.  The waitress said a manager was trying to figure out where his tab was.  We explained that he had never opened a tab up but she didn't want to hear it.  We waited about 10 minutes.  Another guy in our party asked for our bill for us, and the waitress said "Excuse me sir, don't be rude to me, there's no need for you to be rude to me."  This was asking her nicely.  We just wanted to leave and explained that to her, so she told us "just to leave."

So that's what we did.  Apparently after we left the manager came over to talk to the remaining party and asked what was going on.  One of our group members explained the situation.  Then a cop came over, who happened to know another group member.  I guess the waitress ended up crying.  We just wanted to pay our bill and leave.  I didn't like how the waitress pegged us all as drunk and wouldn't listen to us.  I was the DD so I hadn't drank, and I couldn't even get through to her.  She was rude to us from the moment we walked in.

The 2 experiences I've had at Stadium Sports Bar and Grill were pretty opposite of each other, so I'm giving a 3 star rating to cut the difference.

On a Monday, my husband and I stopped by for lunch and were very happy. The service was quick, and our entrees were delicious. (I ordered the black and blue steak salad and my husband had a burger.)

We thought the "seven days of specials" look good and we'll probably be back to try out those deals.

Our 1st time at Stadium, we were a party of 3 on a weeknight for dinner. We were sat by a waitress in the restaurant, and ordered drinks. When the waitress came back with our drinks, we tried to order dinner. Only then were we told that the grill was broken so they weren't able to serve food. We were upset that the waitress didn't tell us that before seating us, so we asked for the drink bill, and left the restaurant quickly after paying. One person in our party was very upset that we were billed for the drinks, considering that we left so quickly due to the lack of food.

My family back home comes here all the time so when I visited for a few days they took me here for 20 cent wing night. Basic New England bar and grill with burgers, wings, etc. I see there are some pretty bad reviews, but I thought it was fine. Wait staff was super nice and attentive and the wings were surprisingly good especially the garlic parm. Plus, they have Sam seasonal on draft so that is a bonus.
No frill here, but I don't see a problem with that. Just good bar food at a great price.
    I'll definitely be back.
note: my sister tells me they have a $1 rib night, and they are huge and delicious.

I don't hate this place, I just don't like it.  I can't give it three stars.

    Whats good:
TVs?  Is that really a good?  Don't all sports bars have tvs?
Strong drinks.  Yes, that is good.

Wow.  I just stopped at two things.

    Whats bad:
    The people that come here.
    The music they play.
    How ridiculously cramped it gets.
    The service.

I guess it's a good place to rent out for a big party though... friends of ours rented out the middle space for a ton of people and we had a good time.  Eh... whatever.  I've been to much better sports bars.

If you ever get famous and need to escape the constant attention and scrutiny of celebrity, then come to the Stadium in Quincy; every customer here is completely ignored.

Honestly, they have better service in prison camps.

There's a picture above of the waitstaff, it's your best chance of ever seeing them.

If you want a chicken sandwich, you're better off ordering raw eggs and wheat seeds, because by the time they deliver it...

I ordered a Sam Summer, when I got it, they were plowing Hancock street.

The food here is pretty good, the beer selection is decent, and the 'deal days" (10 cent taco tuesday...25 cent wings on monday, just to name a few) are worth it...but the service here is in need of some serious help.  Just really slow and not attentive at all.  Once i was sitting at a high-top near the bar and our server was both the bartender and a waitress, so she basically neglected us for at least 20 mins, forgetting to bring over a to-go box and our check....finally realizing it, she took our beers off the bill, but i'd rather have good service that a free meal, to be honest.

i'd reccommend sharing a pizza and pitcher with some friends to watch a game but be prepared to sit for a while with an empty glass...

I really like this place. They have great food, friendly waitresses, beer, music and TV! I mean what more is there to ask for in a sports bar?

Obviously it's not the best place to have a quiet dinner but it's a great place to hang out with friends, have a beer and chow down!

The BBQ chicken pizza and the chili nachos are delicious!!

The service is great too. The hostess was friendly and the waitress kept checking on us and seeing if we needed anything.

Me personally, I think this place is awesome. If you're looking to have a beer or six and watch a game with a bunch of your buddies, this is a great place to do it at.

The apps are half off after 9pm, so if you're going to complain about some artichoke dip, a cheese pizza, or the like, that you got for a grand total of $4, you're smoking crack. Tuesdays are $0.10 taco nights as well. Again, he who complains about a $0.10 taco should probably be punched in the face by all around him (Or her. Equal rights, equal fights). You can't even get a packet of crackers for that.

I've never had any of the waiting issues others have complained about. EVER. Then again, I've gotten Ashton every time I've been there save for once or twice (me and some friends go there every Monday for $0.20 wings and trivia). She's pretty awesome and Johnny on the Spot with everything. If you don't like her, go haze yourself.

I went there on a Saturday morning once. GET THE QUINCY SCRAMBLE. (unless you have a heart condition as it probably has over 2000 calories of awesome in it. Perfect for those Saturday morning hangovers)

Really, it's just what I like in a bar on a weeknight. Not too crowded, but not deserted, decent food, spacious, and free of teenagers after 8pm.

Ehh this place is ok.  I really didn't mind the really poor service at the bar or at our table when we were in a large group because I was having a good time with a large group of people.  But I did find a few moments where I went 15 mins with an empty glass and actively looking to find someone to take a drink order from me.

Also it was a friday night during playoff basketball so it was bucy but at like 9pm or so they took a table out of the busy section and set up a DJ who proceeded to BLAST music so loud that no one could hear ourselves talk let alone the person next to us.  We promptly paid our checks and went to a bar down the street.

I'll go back if this is where my friends choose to meet but I don't think I would actively think of this place when looking to go out.

Sports bar with plenty of flat screens. Been here a few times in the evening. Don't expect much attentive service. When the live band gets rolling, it's not a great place to chit chat. It does get crowded here at night though!

Typical bar food that's not worth remembering. They do have good wings deal on Monday evenings. BTW, they serve Pepsi here. I'm not a big fan of Pepsi, but this tasted worse than a normal Pepsi today. Tasted chemical-ish.

Yes, I stopped by today... for lunch. I doubt I'll go back for food. I had a chowda which was ok - a bit on the salty side. My entrée was the chicken marsala. I had to force myself to eat it. The cheese or whatever it was that they sprinkled all over the dish was way too overwhelming for my taste bud. It just did not go well with the marsala sauce.

I have been to this location as well as the southie location many times. The Quincy location is great. It is spacious, decent door staff, friendly waitresses, and the bartender makes a decent drink. The food is a little overpriced for the standard bar food you get, but I tend to only drink. The few times I've ordered food (wedge salad, burger, spinach dip), they were all just ok.

On a busy Saturday night, the waitress was friendly and checked in often. There was barely any standing room and she managed to get around the room quickly and keep our pitcher full. Alcohol prices are reasonable/cheap depending on what you order.

The bathrooms are another thing. Too small, always dirty, and usually only one stall in service. On less busy nights I've seen waitresses making the rotations in cleaning them, but on a weekend night they are never tended too. It gets really gross, really fast.

2.5 stars for this generic sports bar, rounded up for being upfront with itself and not trying to be anything its not.

Judging by some of the reviews that came before this, it seems I might have gotten off lucky. On a mid-November Sunday night, the service seemed completely adequate. Sure, my waitress forgot to bring over a glass of water with the beers as I had asked, but when reminded, she came back immediately with it.

The food was completely adequate as well. Read exactly as on the menu, the beef we ordered (me- burger; brother- tips) may have been slightly overcooked, but not overly so and that seems to be the m.o. these days.

Between the decently priced beers (including pitchers) and the decent food, this place gets a decent review with a decent number of stars.

It's a sports bar that is spacious & filled with flat screen TVs (all tuned to a different game).  The waitresses wear kitschy uniforms and might be hired based on looks AND natural flirtatious attitude.  Fellow patrons include too-skinny girls and men with no necks.

My friend and I came here to see Fil Pacino play.  It looks like whomever is booking gigs at Stadium knows what they're doing; I'd come back to hear more live music, but probably not for any other reason.

    Misc notes:
    Prices are decent/Selection mid-range/service is A-OK

Okay, just moved from Boston so I may be biased, but the drinks seem really well priced. Got a Alabama Slammer and a cran-vodka (for my roomie - he was on his period) and the total came to $10.50. That seems pretty alright.

No one smiled or said hi to me at the bar so I asked a guy who looked like a barback if he would get me something. "Sure," he said. How about, "Hell yeah because you are going to tip me and I just hit puberty!."

    But the bar is cool.

Oh and how has anyone not mentioned this?!
The girls there all have nice...smiles...

And by that of course I mean HUGE RACKS. I sound like a skeeze but c'mon!

I have not eaten here but the food at the southie location was always decent.

The Nightlife scene however at this bar just plain sucks. The crowd is way young, like how are you allowed to be drinking young. the waitresses are inattentive and the layout is awful. You have to leave the bar to go to the bathroom.

This place was better as the Italian restaurant.

I gave it an extra star because the other day after eating at kagawa we saw the Boston drums and pipes brigade march across the street and into the bar and that was pretty cool.

    Terrible service.

Walked in, sat down, ordered beers, asked for a few minutes to look over menu..... waitress never comes back. All four of us finish our 20oz drinks in roughly 45 minutes.. no waitress.. no acknowledgment by any staff.

Went to the bar to try and track someone down where I was noticed, but ignored, followed a bartender down the bar until she apologized for ignoring me... but by that time our waitress had returned!

Waitress: "Are you ready to order?"
    Us: "Just the check"

Not sure what the food is like...

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had.

We arrived at Stadium Sports Bar and Grill around 8pm and were seated in a good spot to watch the Bruins and Sox game. The waitress came over and the four of us each ordered a drink. We asked the waitress for a minute to look over the menu once she came back with the drinks. Well the waitress NEVER came back. We nursed our drinks for an hour and repeatedly tried to flag down any waitress, and still nobody came. After a full hour had passed, the waitress finally came back and asked if we were ready to order...We asked for the check and left without leaving a tip.

I highly recommend not wasting your time at this bar. I have no idea what the food is like since we didnt get a chance to order but based on the service, I wouldn't step foot in this place again.

I went here on a Saturday night recently and was fairly impressed- especially since sports bars are generally not my scene. The space was great and well-utlilzed. TONS of tvs- this would be a great spot to catch a sox or pats game. We ordered some typical bar food- fries and mozzarella sticks- and both were good. Service was fast and friendly. They were doing a Molson promo- $2 bottles. Can't beat that!

It is strange that you have to physically walk out of the bar to go to the restroom.

We got there early to have dinner and we should've had the cab driver stop at 7-Eleven beforehand because we would've had a better meal. What a let down. I ordered the BBQ Brisket and it started out great, but there wasnt nearly enough sauce, it was dry and was most likely frozen.

Long story short...the DJ missed midnight and the Champagne was actually Miller Lite. Go figure.

I went here last night for couple of beers while watching the Bruins game and college football. It was a nice experience. The staff was nice and the bartender was good.

I've been to the one in Southie as well and it was pretty good. No complains here!

Like others, I had high expectations based on the South Boston Stadium and in the end, should have just gone to that one instead. The layout is terrible for a sports bar. At 10 o'clock at night, the large dining room was deserted and the tiny bar area was packed beyond fire code regulations I'm sure. If they could just transition that unused space once the kitchen closed...

It seems that if you don't get there early enough to grab a table, you end up standing awkwardly in the middle of the room while dodging referee waitresses.

The plus side is with all the plasmas scattered about, there is always a means to avoid eye contact with the typical sports bar creep.

Went out to dinner here last weekend.

    I was impressed with:

    1. Big crowd. I was happy to see a lot of 20-30-ish people out in Quincy Center! There was a Red Sox/Yankees game that night, so I sure this may have had something to do with the amount of people there! The doorman did tell us that they had been drawing in big crowds, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

    2. Spacious - The place is pretty big. It has a nice sized bar area in the front - looking onto Hancock Street. They have a dining area that can hold a good amount of people. They also have additional rooms where they have large screen TVs etc. there was a function going on the night we were there, so I did not check it out.

    3. TVs EVERYWHERE - this truely is a sports bar where there is NO WAY you will NOT see the game - no matter where you are seated. At the table my boyfriend and I were at, I could see 4 screens easily, not to mention the one that was right above our booth. The night we were there all the TVs were showing the baseball game. I assume on other days they may play several games - not completely sure though.

    4. Reliable menu - they offered a pretty standard "sports bar menu" including things like nachos, quesadilla's, burgers, sandwich's, pizza etc. They had a few vegetarian options and several other options on the menu that could be made without meat. I had the pizza. Thought it was okay.

    5. Price - I thought everything was reasonably priced.

    I was not impressed with:

    1. Service - It seemed like once we were seated, our waitress forgot we were there. She may have come around once or twice, but not much more than that. It also took a LONG time o get our dinner. At least 40 minutes? It seemed like a long time to wait. During this wait time, I did not see our server, even to see if we wanted another beer etc.

    2. Bathrooms - these are located outside of the actual restaurant in a shared lobby/hall. It is not like they are really far away or hard to find, but it was strange to leave the restaurant to look for the restrooms. They are also not designed to accommodate more than 2-3 people at a time. For such a big sports bar that attracts such a crowd, this may become a problem!

All this being said, I would like to go back to Stadium and see if the service aspects improve. They are new to Quincy and may need to work out some of the glitches. I would also like to try to go when there are several games on and see how that is. Good thing it is football season!!

Very unimpressed. I used to live in Southie and liked The Stadium there a lot (except of course for it's location). I always thought that if it was on Broadway instead it would be much more popular than the Beer Garden. So I was pumped that there was going to be one on Hancock Street in prime location.

Went in on a Friday night at about 8 for dinner, drinks, and the Sox. Sat at our table for 20 minutes before we were approached by a waitress, who asked "Have you had a chance to look at the drink menu?" (Uh, yea, I think 20 minutes is enough to decide on a beer). She asked to see our ID's even though there was a guy at the door checking everyone's as we walked in. She forgot what size beer I ordered (I guess it's hard to remember the number 22 instead of 16), gave me chips with my dinner instead of fries, and brought my friend an extra beer that she didn't want when I was the one who ordered one.

The food was unimpressive as well. I had a fish sandwich that was VERY small and my friend got a burger that was definitely not cooked medium as she had asked for.

Also, I think they're going for the whole cute waitress/short skirt thing. Let's just say it surprised me that for a Friday night I don't think they had the A-team out there.

On the bright side, lots of big, new TVs make it a decent place to watch a game and grab a beer at the large front bar area. Has big windows that they open up on a nice day. I'll go back for the bar area and some wings or something but not for a sit-down dinner.
