Came for a beer after dinner. Great decorations. Definitely a place to chill after a long day at work. It has a stage where live bands play jazz. The lounge has a projector and 2 TV's to make sure you don't miss any sports actions. It has been opened for 4 months and everything inside is new and pretty. Owners/bartenders are super nice and sociable, extremely attentive. I am going to start bringing my friends over whenever I am back in Houston!

Great Place! I was in Houston for the weekend, and looking for a nice chill spot to have some drinks, and hang out at. After checking out several bars around the plaza, we came across Stage Lounge. My first impression of the lounge was that it was clean, and the atmosphere was laid back. The staff was excellent, and friendly. Also, the live music made this place even better. I'd take that over loud club music where you can barely hear anything any day. Drinks and food were reasonably priced which was nice.

Overall, would I come back here? Yes. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely.

Nice place to hangout. Need more musician to fill the stage. Been there two times for local music night and turn out was pretty fun. Really nice decoration and friendly bartenders.  it would be cool if the drink price is cheaper but manager is very generous so I guess it even out. Over roll will go visit again.

I like is place. There is actually now a bar in Chinatown with live music!!! the interior is pretty nice. The entire wall of windows open up to create a patio feel by the front of the house. The night I went they had all Taiwanese singers and bands. I didn't understand a word of it, but it was still entertaining. I just like that there is a bar in Chinatown with a band ! It would be even better if they got other local Asian bands and singers to perform and not just Taiwanese ones.

We had the chicken nuggets and they were pretty good. I normally only get it at Star Ice Teriyaki, but I would order it again here.  They have a cocktail menu, but I just ordered Jameson and water. It's an average $7 a glass.  So drink prices are not bad at all.  The owner was really nice too... He gave me and my  girlfriend a round on the house.  He didn't get one for our guy friend , but hey that's how it goes I suppose haha....

Its perfect for both a date night or to hang out with friends. This place has a lot of potential and I hope it stays around.

Fantastic place to hang out with your friends in China town! You should try to stop by after your dinner. Listen to some live music, have a drink and just kick back and relax!

This place is a fresh face to Chinatown. Live music, open windows, bar? A rarity that you only see in City Center, or Sugar Land's Town Center. Stage has it's schedule of bands right outside its door varying from local Chinese artists to overseas rock bands. It depends on the night! Their specialty drinks are somewhat on the pricey side but they're pretty good. The blueberry and raspberry mojito are $12 but it's pretty good, I didn't check the price but I had 3 of them.

The service is great. They have this "private club" deal though. The host explained to me that since they're so close to an elementary, they have to make everyone "a member" in order to serve alcohol legally. Now before you fret, it's just a simple swipe of your driver's license and that's it. No fees or anything.

I went on a Saturday night where their house band and another band from Taiwan played. It was pretty good! The atmosphere was electrifying! People dancing, swaying to the music. I truly enjoyed myself.

Check it out, you might like it :)

OK. So here's the deal with Stage. It's still in it's "brand new opening" phase, and their service is getting a little better since my last visit. My friend had her birthday party here this past weekend and I must say that my experience this time around makes for a change of mind from 3 stars from my last review, to 3.75 stars (I had to round up to 4 for my star distribution). This place was packed with people! The room was buzzing and the drinks kept coming (table service was the culprit).

The manager, Sam was making his rounds around the lounge like a hawk, ready to take up your empty beer bottles (as soon as you've taken your last sip) and ask if you wanted more. Crazy 6th sense and overall much better service. I don't wanna call this joint a "hit or miss" place but so far it's definitely improved, service wise.

The food on the other hand may need a little more work. My friends and I ordered the fried tofu, and it was nice and crispy on the outside, the sauce was excellent in flavor, but once you bit into the tofu, it "exploded" in your mouth and became really mushy. Didn't quite hold up, texture wise.

The entertainment was different this night. First off, the emcee spoke in English and so did the artists. It was really laid back, chill music (a girl singing covers and originals on her ukulele and then the 2nd artist was a guy singing covers and originals on his guitar). Both were good. I can't wait to come back and see a live band though, the ukulele and guitar are nice for a mellow coffee shop atmosphere in my opinion, especially since both of their voices were so soothing... made me want to curl up on the couch in my Snuggie.

So far so good Stage. Keep up the good work, and keep those rice crackers comin.

This is a great place to chill right after dinner in Chinatown. They have live music and they do not cheap out on the alcohol. It's a very relaxing atmosphere ; great for groups.  They have appetizer style food available as well. I think we will be frequenting this place often.
