Stout Irish Bar & Grill

Amazing food and service! Definitely will go there again!

I visited Stout with a friend last week, and was impressed.  The interior is beautiful, and the selection of brews was pretty decent, though they could certainly offer more craft beer varieties to suit my snobby taste ;).  The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming.  We did not eat anything so I cannot comment on the food offerings.  However, from my limited experience there, I think Stout is a great addition to an otherwise struggling area of Oakland Park.  Hopefully it will be successful, as Ft Lauderdale needs less Flanigans-Duffys-Ale House type chains and more places like this.

Went to Stout last night for the first time after driving by it to/from work for quite some time.  Don't know what it looked like before the renovation, but its very nice inside afterwards.  Pretty loud in the bar area.  Lots of TVs for sports fans.

I ordered a chef salad with chicken, since I had had a big lunch and wasn't that hungry.  Was a standard salad, but they forgot the chicken and brought it out right away.  It was warm and very moist.  Was told by a friend that he liked his burger and fries.

I would return and try other things on the menu.
