Stubbies & Steins

Stubbies has arguably one of the largest beer selection in Gainesville. While some students are deterred from coming into Stubbies due to the appearance of a possible "hipster" bar, it is in fact a great environment with its combination of countless beer and its suprisnlgy good food. In fact, I am sure it can take you a good 5 mins to read through the entire beer menu. As usual after a couple beers in, its only normal to start craving quick bites. While most are good, you NEED to try the wait for it..... the FRIES. Their fries are a perfectly fried and the accompanying curry ketchup can easily be drank along with your beer.

The beer selection is great, however, it is so weird to me to be in a bar without music. We were there on a Saturday night in July and it was surprisingly quiet and boring.

Fantastic food and beer list, but expensive and the specials suck.
