  Closed 6/19/2012 Due to 5 Alarm fire in Ayer.  Totally 100% burned to a crisp, I hope all of you kept your jobs and nobody was hurt.

  I went here 1 time only. Not a good experience for my 1st time in this SUBWAY. It has to do all with the service. But my sub was okay :)

  A small Subway conveniently located in downtown Ayer.  We got our subs to go, but I noted that the restaurant was pretty clean and the tables were wiped down.  There was only one girl working tonight, and the place was empty save for a few teenagers.
  
  The subs are average, pretty much the same as any other Subway.  I got the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki on honey oat with lettuce and tomato, and my husband got the Subway Melt on italian cheese bread with lettuce, tomato, onion, and peppers, both the $5 foot long deal.  They definitely load up on the ingredients, and a foot long sub is more than enough to fill you up.  
  
  Probably wouldn't rush back, though.  If I'm craving a sub, I'd rather go to a local establishment where I know I'll get something really good.
