Subway

Please tell me that most people realize that this place doesn't deserve to exist.  Being caught with a need for something quick to eat I was talked in to stopping here because it was quick.  Sure it was quick but why sacrifice a decent meal for time.   Life is really too short for anyone to be eating crappy food and Subway is just lousy food.
Now I have no complaints against the staff.   They are doing their job just fine  It is the food dammit.   I sued to order a sub from Subway on a pretty regular basis years ago and it was good.  Not fantastic but good.   But the quality has gone down and down so I thought, I will try the salads, they can't mess up a salad.
They can mess up a salad.  The whole system of picking what you want and then chopping it all up in a large bowl is laughable.  Who makes a salad at home and then chops it or smashes it all together?  lol.   In the end the salads we got for our group were really lousy and almost flavorless.   Couldn't taste the chicken really and they didn't have a lot of toppings to help lift this salad out of the pits.  The portions were skimpy and they don't have any nuts, seeds, chic peas, croutons, etc.
We eat salads from various places pretty regularly and this salad is currently the record holder for worst.
My advice is if you are stupid enough to eat here go for a standard sub and avoid everything else, especially the salad.   But better yet, go down the street to Crabby's or Diane's or even Mother's Day which I don't like but it's better than this place.

This Subway had no picture on Yelp.  When we went inside I took a picture of the inside and the manager looked at me as wanting to ask "why are you taking a picture".  I told her I was taking a picture for a website called Yelp that rates restaurants.  She said "well I never heard of it" in a very snippy tone.  I didn't appreciate her attitude.  The sandwiches were typical subway fare and the service was rather slow.  There really isn't any other fast food in this town so if you have to eat somewhere fast I guess you could eat here , I just hope you don't have to deal with the manager.
