Not so great. I bet breakfast is better but a late lunch on a Thursday was slow with barely ok food. Â Service was terribly slow. We retrieved our own silverware and napkins. Â The hot beef sandwich I had was chewy and dry, but the bread was good and the potatoes were good as well. Â
They have hand cut fries, but give kids a different kind of fry that is breaded or something. Â
So, I think this place would be hopping for breakfast, but our experience wasn't so great.
My fella and I stopped in here when we couldn't find the coffee shop (it had moved a block back and google maps wasn't updated) yesterday around breakfast hour. Â
It was a little awkward when you walk in as its a seat yourself kind of joint but there really aren't any signs letting you know. Â After that first awkwardness it was a great experience. Â All the waitstaff was lovely, they work together to make sure you are taken care of. Â The food was Fantastic! Â And honestly, you can't beat the price!
We ordered the Swedish pigs in a blanket with a side of hash browns, two eggs over hard and toast. Â It was perfect. Â All of it. Â We split it and had food left over for under $13. Â Definitely will be making the stop if I find myself in the area again.
I first went to Swedish Inn about a month ago, instantly got me hooked on the homemade waffles. I drive through here every Sunday. My favorites off the menu would be the Swedish meatballs, Swedish meatball sub, Homemade waffles, and the orange juice that's served in a frozen mug (Which sadly, has no refills.). The waitresses are super nice and I didn't wait long for my food. Overall; great place, great food.
