Swiss Lounge

For Star Alliance Gold members, this is the lounge that you will use at the International Terminal (5) at O'Hare. It is operated by Swiss Air for its business class passengers but Star Alliance Gold members have access to this too.

Size wise, it's decent and not as big which is understandable since O'Hare is obviously not a hub for Swiss Air. Food wise, it's definitely not the best Star Alliance lounge we've been to but at least they do offer a little bit more variety of food and snacks compared to the United Red Carpet club at Terminal 1. We were at the Swiss Lounge in the evening and there were tomato soup warming in the crockpot and cold salad. Liquor was self-service so you can make your own drinks. There were packs of chips, nachos, cheese, crackers. In the fridge were yoghurt, juice, soda, fruit cups (not the fresh kind... think Del Monte). There were also plenty of mineral water bottles which were useful to bring one on the plane with us.
