I stopped here with a friend on our drive from Tulare to the Bay Area. We didn't make it very far on the 99 before I started craving street tacos. The restaurant was clean and there were only a couple of people in it. I ordered two tacos: carnitas and pollo. I then asked for hot salsa on the side (their salsa is never hot enough). I ordered chips and salsa and they told me they don't sell chips and salsa. Yes, you read that right. They don't sell chips and salsa. I guess what she was really saying is they don't sell chips, cuz I had already ordered my salsa. Â So I just got the two tacos ($2.69). Â My friend ordered 3 street tacos: all Asada.
The not selling chips thing: that is the reason for -1 star.
Our food came and hers had hot salsa all over it. Which was VERY good, but pretty hot, and she hadn't expected that so that was a big no for her. But I thought the salsa was amazing.  They also through a couple pickled carrots on the side of the plate. Very good, not too strong jalapeno or vinegar flavor. And lemons. They put lemons on the plates. My friend wwent up to ask  for limes, and got more lemons :)  So overall it was delicious and good. VERY GREASY. I snapped a pic of my tacos before and after. But that's what I expect when I go for street tacos. I think.  :)
