If you find yourself on the east side, and come down with a hankering for good, genuine company, a gigantic big screen to catch the game, clean bathrooms, and cold, cheap ($1.50 drafts) beer (although the selection is severely lacking), then stop into Tailgater's and leave your attitude at the door.
This bar most definitely reminds me of a dive bar in a small town; funny how that works in pockets of a city. You might get a couple odd stares but get over it, these people are regulars and you'd stare at a newbie too.
Families come here; grandpas & grandmas, aunts & uncles. This is quite the hangout for the generations.
Don't forget cash. This is a paper-only kinda place.
