ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TACOS, GORDITAS, TAMALES I'VE HAD. The food has ABSOLUTELY no flavor, it is disgusting. I promised I will NEVER EVER go back to this place. The food is horrendous and the service is just ok. It seems like they just cook the meat and chicken and put absolutely no condiment in there. Its just plain Nasty!

Don't get me wrong the food is great....
But the service really sucks!!!  I've waited for long periods of time just for my order... I figured calling for pick up would be easier...would you believe I still had to wait 45minutes after I walked thier in 10minutes..... REALLY!!!  I will never go back thier again... I even made the mistake of recommending it....now my friends second guess me.....Arg

We order pick up here every once and a while. Great tacos, tortas, orchata, but my favorite and hubby's favorite is their chilaquilles with egg and steak. Yum!

Ok,  I have been a big fan of this place for a long time..  It is a small, quaint, family owned and operated restaurant that fits right into this fast changing blue collar neighborhood.  I sure miss going to this place now that I have moved out of the area.

I used to eat at this place at least once a week, mostly would take advantage of one of the daily specials, $1 tacos, $3 tortas or $1.50 sopes.. My favorites were the steak tacos and the sopes (nopales and chicharon con salsa verde).  I also recommend trying their enchilada dinner and their breakfast options..  Very tasty and nice portions.

Overall this place is very inexpensive, the service is good, but just a tad slow, so be prepared to wait, it will be worth it.

I was super pumped to move into Clearing/G-R for the Polish goodies, but regentrification and shifting populations means that the area is becoming a little less anglo and a little more diversified. And that, my friends, is a good thing.

La Tia is just a hole-in-the-wall shop that you'd probably miss if you drove by. I discovered it on a walk through my new 'hood and had to stop in and see if this place deserved a return trip or not. When I walked in, I felt like I'd walked into a tex-mex heaven of sorts.

Everything I've had here--everything--has been nothing short of excellent. Once again, I have to give some love to their tostadas, because they're absolutely fabulous. Topped with beef, avocado, tomatoes, and some yummy salsa verde (if you ask nicely), it's really just delicious.

Their tortas are 'okay' but then again, I don't really like tortas. Tacos are piled high with goodness.

Their fries are just okay....it's clear they're not a specialty, so if you can, order chips and salsa instead of fries for your side.

And, they deliver straight to me. Anyone that brings me food so I don't have to haul my cookies around is darn good, if I do say so myself. La Tia is getting my repeat business, for sure.
