We went to Terry O'Reilly's for Booyah Trivia on Tuesday with our friends. They have been a few times and love it, so they recommended it.

We apparently went through the "wrong" door when we entered, but the waitress who greeted us told us to just walk on through to the other side (yes, I realize I just quoted The Doors).

We saw our friends immediately sitting at a high top table, which did end up being a BIT tight for 4 meals + trivia sheets, but it worked.

Our waitress came over immediately to ask if we wanted drinks and came back often (but not in a pestering way) until we were ready to order. She was never far from sight and offered us refills before we could ask. After she took our order, our friend leaned in and quietly said "I am so excited! There used to be an AWFUL waitress here, who we always got, and I think this one replaced her!" I mentioned how the majority of the reviews on here panned the service and they said "it was probably that waitress!"

My friend & I both went for the Moroccan Spiced Chicken (Chicken Breast marinated in Moroccan spices, grilled to perfection with a curried cous cous and served with fresh vegetables). My friend said her friend raved about this dish and got it every time and I had been intrigued by it (plus, since it used to be a Mediterranean place, I figured it would be good).

The fresh veg was steamed broccoli, but it was crispy (not soggy/wilted, as steamed brocc tends to get) and the couscous was pitim (aka Israeli couscous), which means it's bigger than normal couscous. It was a bit bland, but it ended up perfectly complimenting the spicy, super flavorful chicken. Each dish had 2 generously sized chicken breasts, so I ended up taking 1 home!

Our husbands both went for burgers - hers for the Blue Cheese, Bacon & Caramelized Onion and mine for the regular. I didn't try a bite (although they looked decent), but the fries were great!! Nicely seasoned and a decent size. Not a huge order of them, but that's ok.

Our meal was expensive ($40+ tip for just my husband & me), but the guys did share some buffalo wings and our friends had a few drinks, so that adds up.

Trivia-wise, it was great. It was much faster than my beloved Stump! trivia and the trivia DJ was funny and easy to hear. I will definitely be back. And hopefully next time we'll do much better!

Terrible. Food was cold and it took them 30 min to get 2 burgers with salads to the table.

The waitress tall blonder skinny was non existent to the point the bartender took over and basically served us.  He got us our water, took our order, served our food to our table, and even rang us up.  I tipped the waitress ZERO which was well deserved-I've never tipped zero ever!!! But, honestly she deserved it and she didn't SERVICE us.  I tipped the bartender instead.  If you go there don't get served by the waitress-go to the bar.  He does a good job.

I'm happy to see a moderately priced dining option in this location, but this has a lot of room for improvement.

    The good
    --Very moderate/fair prices
--Hostess and waiter very kind and polite (5 stars here)
    --Nice, casual atmosphere
--No outdoor seating, but windows open up during good weather (and it looks like in winter there is a fireplace of sorts)
--Menu includes many items you would expect from an Irish pub
--Vegetables were tasty and well cooked
--Very willing to make substitutions and accommodate special requests (we preferred fries to baked potato and didn't want peppers with the mixed veggies - no problem)

    The not-so-good
--Iced tea is not fresh brewed but rather comes from a machine (luckily I asked before ordering)
    --Mashed potatoes are not fresh
--The baked scrod was tasty, but the portion was very small
--We didn't order the fish & chips, but the table next to ours did and the fish looked really overcooked.  Our pork chops (daily special) were tasty but also tough and bit dry
--SLOW SLOW service.  It took forever for our food to come out.

I suppose we would consider eating there again if the parking gods shined upon us and we were in the mood for pub food again (we had planned to go to Noodle House but there was a spot directly in front of the pub, so we gave it a try).  I
