Went here for dinner during the week with the place about 40% full. That was a good thing as between the brick and plaster walls, it is A VERY NOISY PLACE TO EAT.They are copying Estatrios Milos in NYC.This is an expensive glamorous place on west 56th street with $50 fish entrees, btw that is ala carte.I had a couple of spreads, a greek salad and the lamb chops. All were good, not exactly heavenly.Given the high prices and noise level i would much prefer Greek Taverna down the road.

2nd visit to Thasos.  Couldn't find my initial review on here, so decided to do another one.

Went with a group of friends on Saturday night.  Place was busy, gald we had a reservation.  Seated pretty quickly.

We split a few salads and had the saganaki.  Didn't like the fried cheese the first visit, it was better this time, but still not as good as Greek Islands.

I had the chicken for my entree.  It was moist and warm and pretty good, not outstanding.

The baklava cake for dessert was very sweet and yummy, luckily I like sweets.

Overall, its a fine restaurant, very well decorated and more like South Beach in Ft. Lauderdale, but it is very pricey for what you get.

And my bottom line is that Greek Islands is just a better place and better value.  Yes it might not be as pretty and clean, but the food is better and not as expensive.

So, its up the person to decide which to go to, but my go to would be Greek Islands.
